They just finished our home, which hadn't had any exterior repairs or painting in 22 years, so it looked like a peeling, dilapidated haunted house before Momaney arrived. It required lots of exterior carpentry, scraping, power washing, priming, and two coats of paint. Now, it looks fantastic! We're planning to put it up for sale next spring. We expect that the sale price just increased by much more than the amount we paid. Thanks Moe and your wonderful, very professional crew for a job well done.
Let's be honest about painters--they become intimately involved in one's life. They have full access to your property, you have to live with the results of that relationship a long time and it's really expensive to walk back the choices you made while in that partnership. For all these reasons, I am pleased to share with the Yelp community a jewel of a painter and his merry band of professionals right here in Southern Vermont. "Moe" Momaney is like that super-cool brother who could have gone to Stanford but decided to be the commander of his own ship instead. You'll want to discuss books and current events with him--and you can do that--but you might get more pleasure from watching the choreography of his work unfold right before your eyes. Moe works alongside and leads his crew who know when to scrape, when to sand, when to bleach, when to prime and when to replace. Oh yeah, and how to paint without making a smelly mess. They scramble and scamper all over your place like powder monkeys on the USS Constitution. No wall is too high, no rot too buried under shingles that they won't dig it out and replace it. These guys protect your most important material investment and do it with humor, grace, efficiency and competence. They use topnotch materials, they are "natural" engineers, stepping in to fix challenging situations, and the prices are reasonable for the level of expertise you will get. Once they leave your place sparkling and "sharp" (Moe's word), you'll be thinking of other things you need to paint because having your property in the hands of an authentic craftsman is a real pleasure.
