We just bought a house and needed a lot of work done (nothing huge, but definitely a long list) and went with Northstar as they came recommended by my dad. There was a bit of a wait (same with every contractor) but they were always very communicative. For the quote they came to the house, got the details that they needed, and gave us a fair price. We wound up having to drop one thing and add another and they adjusted the price accordingly with no problem.About a month after the quote they came to do the work and they were PHENOMANAL.
