I find the sessions relaxing and a great recharge allowing me to shift my energy back into my family and friend, while still taking care of myself. From the outside looking in it seems like the kind of place I would want to get my hair done if I was a dude. My boys are only two and four and they love getting up in that chair and getting their fresh cuts. Algenis is so good with them and just such an awesome person all around. Highly recommend!

Morgan and Jeremy are also very talented barbers I'm just loyal to people who have done right by me which is why Tony will be the only one to cut my hair but by no means does that reflect poorly on the other staff and their skills. Great spot, I even take my two boys here and they look forward to getting their hair cuts.

I considered giving 4 out of 5 stars because I thought it was strange that as a new client I had to send a photo of myself and a down payment at booking. But apart from that, I had a great experience. The salon is large and very nice, the staff was exceptionally friendly, and my stylist, James, was fantastic! He is a seasoned and professional cut & colorist, and was a great conversationalist. I highly recommend Indigo (and James) if you are shopping for a salon.

First time at The Men's Room and can't say enough positive things about my experience. After 10 years with a solo stylist, who went and retired on me, I was looking for a replacement. Being on the older side I was reluctant to go to a trendy/cool place with with much younger clientele but I was made to feel right at home. Also, I was looking to change things up and go very short with not a lot of hair to work with. Brittany was excellent in coming up with the perfect cut. She listened and explained what she was going to do and it came out exactly the way she said it would. Her technical skills are excellent and more importantly her "chairside manner" was what sealed it for me. I will definitely be back and might add the price is quite reasonable considering being in downtown Burlington!

Our pedis turned out great. Great atmosphere if you like to engage and not just sit there in your phone. Owners Tammy and Pete made us laugh out loud and made the time go by very quickly. Our new favorite nail place.

Recently relocated to Burlington, and this was my first experience with a salon here. A regular pedicure was $37, and felt well worth it. Unfortunately the nail techs weren’t wearing name tags, because I’d love to shout out the woman who did my nails! She was meticulous and very personable. Salon was clean and relaxing. I would strongly recommend if you’re looking to relax for a while!! (~45 min)

Christina is an absolute angel and really great at what she does! After my perm, I was having a lot of trouble getting my hair to do what I wanted (I have a hard time working with it because it’s very fine and doesn’t like to do anything other than be flat and straight), and she went above and beyond to help me understand how to work with it and what products to use. I can tell she’s passionate about what she does and so kind and caring to her clients. I was having bad anxiety when I arrived there one day, and she gave me some lavender balm to put on and that really helped me feel so much better. I’ll 100% be back again!! Can’t recommend her shop enough!
Requested style: I got a perm done and she did a great job! She put good quality product in afterwards and made it look perfect. And she also gave me a rundown of how to care for it, which was super helpful!

She is professional, in every sense. I trust her completely and tell her to do whatever she thinks is best for me. I appreciate her time, never rushed, and recommendations. I’ve had no complaints.
Stephanie cut my hair, and it turned out really great! I have really long hair and requested layers and that's exactly what she gave me. She made sure that the shortest layer could still be put up when I wear a ponytail or bun for my job! Great experience 10/10.

I just had my low key bachelorette party here. It was amazing! The atmosphere was so relaxing and inviting, felt like we were all just hanging out at a friends house. We all left looking fabulous and feeling even better. She even accommodated my 5 year old daughter that tagged along last minute.

Made an appointment, went in and piercing was super easy and pretty quick. They don't charge separately for the jewelry and just give you surgical grade studs/loop. The price was under $100 for these three ear piercings
One of the best shops in town hands down. I would be comfortable getting a tattoo from any artist in this shop, and almost have at this point. I have yet to be disappointed here and would recommend to anyone looking to get great tattoos from good people.

This studio is such a gem. The owner, Bill, is such a wonderful person and teacher and his classes are transformative and filled with love and light. I am a yoga teacher myself and I travel miles and miles to attend Bill’s class. I have also gone to classes led by other teachers at the studio and those classes were superb as well. If you are looking for the best yoga or hot yoga studio in Burlington, look no further. Thanks Bill, you are such a light.
If you're trying to choose a yoga studio, I can't recommend Sangha enough. Not only do they have multiple locations so you can almost always find a class that suits your schedule, but they also have a comprehensive variety of class styles, from absolute beginner-level, to some of the most advanced classes I've attended. They manage to pull this off while maintaining a welcoming vibe, always accepting and celebrating each student for exactly who they are. Sara's Flow 2 classes are my favorite right now. Even though she's incredibly advanced, strong and disciplined, she is somehow able to make her students feel motivated and confident, striving for poses they would have never thought possible before.
LRY is a very special place in Burlington, Vermont! When I found out that Emily had trained in somatic work, I had no doubt that it was the right place for me to do my 200 YTT. As I started my training and getting to know the community, I was pleased to learn that members of the LRY community are all passionate about their yoga journey, many continuously going to India for training, and many traveling the world offering their gifts. I'm doing the TEP program led by Christina, someone I witness embodying sacredness in her yoga practice. My experience was dynamic and relaxing. I felt safe to explore breathing and how my body felt that day in different shapes. The space itself is straightforward, tidy, and well-stocked. There are mats, blocks, straps, pillows, blankets, and even eye pillows. I like how there's cold water available and the inclusive not-for-profit approach which can be felt at all the locations.
I think this is the first Google review I’ve ever written. I’m clicking “5 stars” because I don’t wish to diminish the business’s “rating” or reputation, however, I was disappointed with my experience at this studio. I’ll preface this by saying I’m a long-time yoga practitioner and teacher with a 500hr certification, so I understand what the instructor was trying to do in prohibiting me from practicing as I wanted during my period, but autonomy is so important in yoga spaces. Some tradition in yogic systems should/can be left aside, if the student wishes to move as she pleases through asana. This is just one example. We aren’t talking a major safety issue because of menstruation. I appreciate the high qualifications and deep respect for the practice this studio obviously embodies, but in the simplest terms, if a student wants to practice her handstands or engage her core when bleeding, let her. I don’t have a lot of time for my own student-ship these days, and was really looking forward to working my asanas this morning, not being made to be in relative inaction in my body. My apana would’ve survived it.

Look no further - you've found the BEST in Rick Lothrop! As a marathon runner and frequent traveler, I often need to book a massage in a new city, and I've had some great ones in the world's best spas and wellness centers, but this one was a "WOW" experience and tops them all by a wide margin. I've honestly never had such an exceptionally effective, wonderful massage. After a long and difficult cross-country flight, I went from feeling so sore and achey that I couldn't sleep to feeling zero pain and having fully restored mobility within one session. Rick welcomed me into his beautiful, spotlessly clean treatment room, where he's created the most warm, peaceful and comfortable sanctuary. After discussing what was happening, through his extensive skill set, knowledge, experience, and sharp intuitive sense, he managed to fix it all within my 90-minute session, which he generously exceeded to provide the necessary treatment. What shines through is that he genuinely cares and is very invested in his clients' wellbeing and improvement. I'm beyond impressed and so appreciative. I've already recommended him to others in Burlington, and would not even consider another massage therapist when I return to the area. Rick Lothrop is BY FAR the best. Highly recommend!!

Jintina is a highly intelligent therapist. Her work has helped me recover from serious neck pain related to full time IT work. She understands anatomy very well and is active with her continuing education. I’ve had a dozen massages with her including Thai and table massage. I’ve always left feeling like a marshmallow. If you haven’t had Thai massage it’s performed on the floor on a comfortable pad and it’s a fascinating combination of massage and stretching. Being on the floor allows her to have leverage that’s beyond that of a table massage. It’s very different and incredibly relaxing. I close my eyes and let her make me feel transported. She’s a rockstar.

I'm a 29 y/o whose job require that I maintain a strong level of fitness and health. I try to get massage therapy at least once a month so that I can continue to train and do my job at the highest level possible. While traveling through the area I had the opportunity to get an appointment with Ann. I've been getting massage therapy for over 7 years and she is by far one of the most knowledgeable and experienced practitioners I have ever met. Even though I only had one session with her she took the time to get my full background, screen me and still put in an hour of quality work. She has a wealth of experience she is willing to share based on her background working with olympic athletes, and as an athlete herself. I highly recommend her work. Although I do not live in the area, if traveling through again I would not hesitate to get another session.
I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, and came here to see if PT would help my joint issues, and I'm really glad I did. I work with Harry, and he's been great with helping me manage my hypermobility, especially since my health issues are often complex and unique. Highly recommend this place. Any physical therapist you get will be extremely competent, and the front staff are lovely.
