We have a 5 yr-old LG fridge that stopped cooling properly (of course, we told ASAP it was an LG fridge). ASAP came out day after we called them. The guy diagnosed a failed compressor (which is not unusual from what we're told). When we asked about time to repair, he said they don't replace LG compressors!! So...why did you accept the service call for an LG with a likely bad compressor? Then, as it turns out with a second repair company, there was nothing wrong with the compressor, it was a leaky coil.So, they took a service call for something they likely would not be able to fix, and then they misdiagnosed the problem, and still took our money.
No show twice for time windows. Then had the audacity to call the owner and say we cancelled on them. Text messages speak volumes and are time stamped so kudos for their ability to not tell the truth. Dave stated technicians can't message clients if they are running late since it's their business policy to not allow any communication between anyone but the client they are on site with. Might be better for their business end to step up and talk for them. Super garbage service. They will lie to save face. Highly do not recommend.
I have used ASAP Appliance in the past and have been very happy with their service. Today I discovered my dryer was not working and attempted to call and make an appointment. Every time I called I was bumped to an answering service that said the person I was trying to reach was unavailable. I just assumed the line was busy so I kept calling back. Finally, after about an hour, ASAP calls me and says the following, "You have put our number on speed dial and we will not be helping you. You are not the kind of customer we want." I did not put them on speed dial. When I tried to explain that their answering service was giving me this message he said, "No. I don't want to hear...read full review
