Loyal customer earned! I recently bought my home. A new homeowner's nightmare ensues within two weeks of moving in. My sewer line has a major issue and my basement floods. I called my warranty company. They send out their contractor (United Air and Temp). My husband had to pull the toilet out because they "were not allowed to" and could not locate the clean out. They snake the main line and say they've resolved the problem. Three days later....same thing happens again. Same company comes out. This time, they tell me there is a break in the main sewer line and I cannot use the water until the sewer line gets replaced. They quote me over $17k and tell me they can offer financing. I am devastated. Me and my family go stay with a dear friend while we figure this out. I decide to call around and request other estimates. Thankfully, one of the other estimates I received was from Jon at One Stop Mechanical. Not only did they come in and quote me thousands less - but they also were the ONLY company that told me I should call the county because the issue was in an area that they might cover. I took Jon's advice and I will forever be grateful to him. The next day the county was in my front yard replacing the broken sewer line - for FREE. When I had to replace my collapsing “orangeburg sewer pipe" in my front yard, I dreaded the cost, so I sent RFB’s to four of the most popular companies that do this. John, the main man at 1Stop Mechanical came right out to my house to size up the job and bid almost half of what the other companies were asking. On “Dig Day” they dug carefully with their backhoe and used shovels at critical points so they wouldn’t damage a nearby sidewalk nor my water line that crossed the right over my sewer line. 1 stop is just what they say they are. I guarantee these guys will take care of you right the first time. I have had nothing but success when it came to dealing with this company. I replace my 50 year old sewer line in March of 2021. The line ran about 13 feet deep into the line of the main. This was no problem for these guys to me it seem this was going to be a big headache. They handled it with old school methods that made the job look seamless. I have no problems with any of the work they performed.
