Athey's is the go to floor refinishers in the Winchester area...I have known this since the mid 80's. A long time ago, I wanted to have a floor refinished in a mid 1800's house, but the boards were too thin. Just recently though I had a floor in Winchester done before putting it on the market - the floors turned out beautiful. Scotty cares about what he does and it shows. PS do not forget to change the air filters on your heating/air cond system afterwards!

We are remodeling a 55 year old house. Some of the floors were original, some had been modified, not to our taste. The Athey’s responded to our wants, and re did the main floor. Living room, hallway, and 3 bedrooms. Looks great! Then we had 1 more family room, and the carpet needed replaced…. The wood floors looked so good we decided to dump the carpet.Athey’s came back, installed new wood floor, and finished it just like the rest of the house.It looks great. They did the work on schedule, and just like we wanted it…I/ we would recommend Athey’s for any wood flooring needs. They do good work, and it shows…Services: Wood floor installation

I have had them refinish our flooring at our old house. Turned out beautifully and was done in the promised time frame and everything was nicely cleaned up when they left. And the floors looked great 5 years later when we moved out. We just moved into our new house. Floors were redone 2 years ago by previous owners. We removed a few columns and now had several spots on the floor that needs fixed. Athey was able to just refinish those spots withiut redoing the whole floor and you can't tell unless you know it was patched. He did that great of a job. And his price was way more affordable than other companies in town. Will Def be calling him next time I need anything... read full review
