I have used JCS Home Services for my wood fireplace cleaning, maintenance, and repair and have been very pleased with their work. They have been responsive, timely, and professional. After having some fireplace panels replaced, I had a question about the curing process, sent some pictures to confirm the wear was normal, and the team replied very quickly explaining that what I was seeing was normal, what to look for that wouldn't be normal, and that the fireplace was safe to use. On another occasion, I had a follow up question after the first use of the fireplace of the year and they were responsive, helpful, and even sent a team member out to confirm everything was functioning properly. I would highly recommend them, I have been very impressed with their work and commitment to customers.
This young barber did me very good. He is probably one of the greatest barbers of all time.
Very good quality massage. The only negative was that this is yet another place that wants you to pay AND TIP before your massage. Then, after the massage is done, they ask for more tip. I tried to explain that it would be a better policy for them to simply say “pay first, tip after” as it would be more well received by Americans, but I’m not sure they understood. Other than that though, the massage itself was very well done, with medium pressure and hot stones seemingly thrown in for free.
I had the literal best donut I’ve ever had in my entire life here, they aren’t so busy when we can but yet had really kind and attentive service! Overall really enjoyed it here

I strolled in today to Nail Art for a pedicure without an appointment because it was a few doors down from the UPS store where I had business. When I walked in, two men greeted me with laughter and smiles and one of them, Charlie, set me up in a chair to await his wife, Rosa. In the meantime I had a great time with Charlie and Danny their manager talking about life and family etc. When Rosa came back, she got right to work. First, she worked on a troublesome callus on my toe and got it down to nothing without any pain. She gave the best foot and leg massage, and really took her time with me. Literally one of the best experiences I have ever had a nail salon, and getting my nails done is not my favorite activity. We've been in the Winchester VA area since June and we're leaving in a few days. I am so sorry I didn't discover this gem of a place sooner. I love these people and this small but clean shop. Don't hesitate to go here for your nail and waxing needs.

Listen I use to get get cuts up in front royal I’ve been through every barber but ever since I Met Emanuel he’s been the go to I drive 40 mins for a cut every two weeks cause he makes the beard line up clean & has me feeling like I’m on top of the world ready to conquer I’m never questioning if I’m going to like the cut when I walk out cause I know being cut by him is a privilege. I’d drive twice as far for the cuts & the feeling I get leaving the shop

I enjoy getting a haircut at Jill's. Sure, sometimes you have to wait, especially on a Saturday morning but it's a barber shop. If it's popular you're gonna have to wait. I don't have a regular barber there but I have no complaints with whoever cuts my hair.

Bebe is the best barber in this area. If you go to Sharp Edges, he will take care of you. Had a situation where I brought my brother in for a cut and he gave him the cleanest cut of his life. Needless to say, my brother will be back. Me and him both highly appreciate a barber who cares about their client’s appearance and takes ownership in his place of work. Can’t say enough about how generous he is as well. He gave my brother a free haircut. Best experience I’ve ever had in a barbershop. Finding a good nail lady is so hard but the second I went to Jasmine she changed my life. My mom always talked about how important having a good nail lady is and when I walked into a random salon on a Tuesday morning for an emergency nail appointment, it was like she was ready for me. My nails have never looked better and never felt better. My cuticles look healthier then ever. I would 10/10 recommend Jasmine to anyone I know. It’s amazing to have finally found someone who actually cares about the work they do on their clients

Walked in for a fill. Cleanest fill I’ve ever gotten. Idk the girls name who did mine but she had a tattoo of Cuba on her forearm and she was fast and so good. This is the best and cleanest my nails have ever looked.
Emily does my liquid gel nails, and my regular polish pedis. Been going there for years, with a several year break when I just stopped getting my nails done. My nails are always smooth and beautiful looking when Emily is done. If I don't like my nails it's because I don't like the color I picked, not because of the quality of the work.

My mom and I have gotten our nails done a couple times at fancy nails and we absolutely love them! We got pedis today and they took their time and paid attention to details! She asked if the water was a good temperature and after painting one toe she checked to see if I liked the color. I’ve visited a lot of mail salons and not everyone does these little things! They added some cute little flowers to the water at the beginning too! I will definitely be back and I’d recommend them to anyone looking to get nails done in Winchester!

It has been years since I been to any salon, due to stylistcutting way more off than I wanted in other salons. I have already booked my next trim with Ali. I had the most horrific experience at another salon around the corner. I went to mane attraction and the front desk had matched me with Kristy. She had consulted with me and was able to fit me in the next day.
She was empathetic and helped me through my problem all the while explaining perfectly.
My hair was so bad that she had to cut it and recommended a treatment plan with making the health of my hair a priority and provided a long term plan with her.
My advice is to read reviews but focus on responses from salon owners. If those responses are highly unprofessional then stay away. Just because something is expensive doesn’t mean you’re getting quality service.

I was looking to get my first Brazilian wax and found Malaya’s glam bar and she seemed to have good reviews so decided to give it a try. I can honestly say Chanel made me feel so comfortable and answered all my questions and basically let me know what to expect. She is super friendly and easy to talk to, it did hurt but not as bad as i thought it would and I’ve heard overtime it won’t be as painful which she also confirmed. She was very on top of communication, i booked online and she confirmed via text and was able to get me in sooner. Definitely would recommend her!!

Brought my son in today to get a tattoo for his 18th Birthday. Bo was phenomenal! He is absolutely amazing at what he does. He was quick and precise and on top of that he has an awesome personality! This tattoo parlor is so cool! So much fun stuff to look at and there’s also cool stuff you can buy, like vintage clothing. To top it off there is this huge purple sectional couch that is so cute and comfy! I want one for my house lol Thank you, Bo for taking care of my son today! We will be back for sure!!

Jim came and assessed our low water pressure and installed a pressure switch. He was very professional and explained every thing as he went along. As it turned out we had two issues and Jim had to hand our case over to Jimmy Moore for a whole new well pump the next day. Jimmy and his assistant Korey did a great job. Again they were super professional and explained things as they went along. Jimmy even answered my follow up questions after the job was done that evening. Everything works great and we couldn't be happier. Thank you Jim and Jimmy!
Marine Services were able to respond to my call and issue within the hour. And when they arrived, they were courteous, respectful, efficient, and clear with their explanation of what needed to be done, the cost involved, and the amount of time it would take. They were done within an hour. I even received a thank you postcard in the mail that was personalized. I will definitely be using them again when I need to.

I called Powells' for quotes on several plumbing projects. They were prompt, friendly and professional. I decided to go forward with 2 of the projects and they completed them while they were there. They replaced our deteriorating cast iron sewer line with PVC, street to house. Really excellent, high quality workmanship throughout! The day my wife and I agreed with Tony Foreman to have him build our new home, Tony said to us, "have fun with it." That is exactly what we did.
Tony and his Team in conjunction with brick-and-mortar contractors began the process of building our home. We discovered immediately how important it was to Tony that he build us the perfect home as we discussed every detail room by room.
His Team led by Amy doing the design work and Mike his building foreman were amazing every step of the way. Amy, I referred to as the inside person as she helped us design each room to our exact specifications. Most important were our visits with her to the contractor facilities to pick lighting, cabinets, doors, windows and so much more. In each case Amy led us through the process of selecting each part of our home. Her acumen and experience made the process of designing the home simple and succinct.
As the home began to take shape and went under roof, we began to work closer with Mike as he reached out to us for our input as he conducted the build. We were able to make critical adjustments within rooms as the home came together. We really appreciated Mike's regular communication as his Team moved forward. For example, we decided to turn a full bathroom into a half bath and closet space adjacent to my office. It turned out to be a huge improvement and much better use of the space.
In conclusion, Tony Foreman and his Team we found to be everything we expected and more. We could not be happier with our Foreman custom home. It is truly a custom home with so many special touches that make it a wonderful place to spend our lives.

CRS over the past year has done two separate jobs at my home. The first was water damage in my basement from rain. Fred came out and quickly identified the problem that was a french door leaking away from where most of the damage was downstairs. I had assumed it was in the corner of my deck which was right above the damage. The second job was several faceted in that they replaced another french door downstairs, removed carper and tiled an entrance in front of the door, put crown molding throughout my finished basement and replaced a pergola on my deck. Not only is the quality of their work fantastic but when they were done it was like they had never been there. Even during their work each evening they left it spotless. I would highly recommend them

Working closely with Dave and his team starting in 2021 we presented him with land we had found along with house plans. Bob and Gerring Construction were a pleasure to work with. After our home’s skylight bit the dust, I contacted Bob for a temporary repair and then full replacement. Bob came within 24 hours to repair our skylight — which was critical, as we rent out our house as a short term rental.

Just moved into one of their rental properties and they have already proven to have great properties and to take great care of them as needed.
The whole team was terrific. I felt comfortable with them working in my home while my family was there. Each day they communicated what had been done and what was going to be done the next day. When bumps came up, as often happens in remodels, options were given and discussed. Suggestions were given and my concerns were quickly gone. The end result was a bathroom remodel in my budget that was in line with the original proposal. I am eager to have them work more in my house.
Thorough and trustworthyI manage facilities for a medical firm and we had sewage flowing up for days, I couldn’t find a plumber that would get to me quickly, they all booked me out 2-3 weeks and it was an emergency. I was so happy when I called JHS and they were at my office within 4 hours and handled it immediately. They didn’t waste time, their dispatcher called to organize us to enter the back door without spooking our clients and they ran through everything stealthy. Very impressive. When completed, they had our office manager flush the toilet to ensure everything was working before they left. It was amazing how professional, communicative, and efficient they were.

Man what a great company. They came out did an honest inspection and I told them I’ve been been doing a great job on my own and that treatment wouldn’t been reccomended until maybe spring and only if my problem got worse. On top of this I was running late and they stuck around and also gave me advice. Not only did they not make any money off me they gave me free pointers. It’s hard to find and honest business. But I’ll tell you what i would hire them and pay the extra money any day of the week these guys know there stuff you won’t regret I promise!

What can I say. We called Lee for what we believed was a squirrel in our attic but soon discovered a rodent nightmare in both the attic and crawlspace. It was a HUGE job, but Lee tackled the job to his very high standards. He didn’t only solve the problem, but gave us peace of mind knowing our home was left in even better shape. We’ve learned so much from Lee since then. We can’t recommend him enough!

I have very high dentist anxiety and it had been a few years si I was nervous! But I was nervous for nothing!! I was relaxed!! I was dreading pain after deep cleaning but had no problems and that was amazing to me. I recommend then for sure!!

Dr. Bollinger works with Dr. Mistr. Dr. Bollinger has a great personality but more important is her professional ability. I saw her today for the repair of two cavities. As such, she injected me with pain medication (Novocain) and I felt NO PAIN whatsoever regarding the injections. A few minutes later she commenced working on the filling of the cavities (drilling and what not) and again experienced NO PAIN regarding this. The cavities were in opposite sides of my lower jaw yet she completed the work and I was out of there in about one hour. I highly recommend Dr. Bollinger if you are looking for a dentist. I have been seen by Dr. Bollinger for eight years.
Newly updated with an arcade room to play video games while you wait, a lot of natural light from all the windows in the waiting room, nice place. The receptionist is really nice. Been there twice after moving to the area and my wait time has been less than 5 minutes. They are considerate and ask questions to determine your "fear" level of getting work done in your mouth. Glad I chose these guys after moving to the area.

Dr Haney gave my wife an option of either having the infected tooth extracted or a root canal to save the tooth. At first we decided to save the tooth. After thinking it over we decided to have tooth extracted which took place today. Every one was encouraging and kind. Thank you Dr Haney and well knowledgeable staff.

I was referred to Dr Woznak by a friend. I had an emergency with an abscess on a cracked tooth with a bridge attached. They got me in the next day even though I wasn't an established patient. (My denist was in Greece). I was so anxious about having it removed, because the bridge needed to be cut. Dr Woznak took his time before the procedure to talk to me and gave me the options. He was so kind and gentle. It was the easiest procedure I have ever had! Thank you for helping a nervous Nellie!! What a relief!
She is knowledgeble and gentle. I once was afraid of dentists, not anymore. I have recommended several people to her. I would rate her a 10.

Very happy that I chose to go the Apple Wellness Chiropractic Center. Currently about 2/3 of the way through my treatment program and have experienced significant reduction in the sciatic pain I am being treated for.
The staff is extremely professional, friendly and accommodating. My questions are always answered thoroughly. The facility is bright and clean. Scheduling of treatment sessions is very flexible and any changes requested are accomplished without difficulty.

Just a wonderful animal hospital. Meadow Branch Animal Hospital offered a laparoscopic spay for my doberman puppy. So much better than a traditional spay. The recovery time for my puppy was cut from the normal 10 days down to 2. My puppy was up and running in no time. No large incisions to monitor or clean up. So much less stressful for both me and my puppy. I would highly recommend a laparoscopic spay or neuter especially if you have a highly energetic puppy. Thanks for the great service!
I have 2 pups. Mick is almost 14 years old and Maverick is a year and a half. Mick has been suffering with pancreatitis and could not get his yearly vaccinations. Maverick needed all of his yearly vaccinations. I had both pups with me in the store while waiting for Maverick’s appointment. The team was absolutely wonderful! The vet even volunteered information on how to help Mick with healing from the pancreatitis. She was wonderful in handling Maverick. He’s a Shih Tzu mix and is so dramatic. He buried his head under the nurses arm when they presented the needle. I am so glad we went here. I have another appointment in a couple days to get Mick up to date.
The staff at this facility, have the utmost caring and compassion for not only the animals, but the family members who bring their animals in. Highly recommend them!
This is a great place to get your dog groomed! Sharon is so welcoming and so competent, doing a great job and providing feedback on how your dog did during the visit. The cut was perfect, price was reasonable and scheduling the appointment was simple not having to wait weeks to get in. Will definitely be returning!
I can't say enough good things about Sara. What she has done with my Bailey. A black lab who is terrified to get her nails done. She still is, but she now will get on the table and tolerate it thanks to Sara. Sara is patient gentle and kind with her. She calms her and greets her when she first arrives. She's very relaxed while working with her. Even though my dog is very anxious and sometimes can get a little crazy. She allows my husband or I to stay there with her and help keep her calm. I couldn't ask for a better place. The lady at the desk is also just as sweet.
We looked at a couple groomers after we moved here and wasn't happy with the customer service or facilities however when we went to bark n call i was so pleasantly surprised when I took my pups here (doberman and two dachshunds). My dogs are not the best when it comes to grooming or getting their nails cuts but they looked and smelled absolutely amazing. Will definitely be returning. Their facility smelled clean and they had stalls instead of those tiny metal crates with metal walls which makes Me feel better too!!!! Highly recommend them!
The best and only place to go for grooming in Winchester if you are able. Katie has been grooming my dogs for over 5 years now.

Shine Yoga is an absolutely wonderful studio. All the instructors are so sweet and very mindful and knowledgeable. The studio itself is so beautiful, very zen, peaceful and clean. I always feel so welcome when I come here and leave my mat feeling refreshed and revived. Caroline (the owner) has created something very special and I couldn’t recommend this studio enough. 10/10!

He is by far the best massage therapist there is. He knows the body and is so in tune with what your body needs. He provides such a professional and calming atmosphere. Love him <3

Just had great one hour table massage. I did not catch the gentleman's name who did my massage but he was wonderful. After a six hour flight from the west coast and sitting in two days of meeting with one more to go my back was definitely aching. Hot stones at the finish were so nice. Highly recommend!!
Very good quality massage. The only negative was that this is yet another place that wants you to pay AND TIP before your massage. Then, after the massage is done, they ask for more tip. I tried to explain that it would be a better policy for them to simply say “pay first, tip after” as it would be more well received by Americans, but I’m not sure they understood. Other than that though, the massage itself was very well done, with medium pressure and hot stones seemingly thrown in for free.
I’ve been to a lot of massage places in Winchester, both the big chain types and local spots. Ann is the best. I’ve been going to her for about a year and she truly improves my life. She’s knowledgeable and skilled at her craft, her studio is calm and inviting, and she cares for her clients.
Crystal does an amazing job at finding areas in your body that really needs attention & will focus on them . She is very professional, gives your body the full amount of time you booked , & is a great conversationalist if you want & also gives you quiet time when you just desire to focus inward & enjoy the massage . The place is quiet & low key , & had a down to earth vibe , which I like , since the fancier the place , the more things cost all-around , so I can definitely appreciate the reasonable rates. Been going here for several years & will definitely be going back ! A+

I came in as a walk in and the owner was so kind and welcoming. I work in the Operating Room and was feeling rather tense in my back, shoulders and legs. I don’t think there was a knotted muscle in my body she didn’t find and massage out. She applied the time and pressure to my targeted areas and had perfect pressure during the remainder of my massage. I would hands down recommend this place to anyone looking for a good massage in a clean and comfortable atmosphere. Thanks Again, I will definitely be back ! ** Side Note: They do have you pay first but, you do not have to apply a tip until’ the end of the massage so, don’t be nervous.
Had a 60 minute massage with Charolette today. Charolette incorporated some stretches in with the massage, which was such a great combination. Facility is clean. The lounge where you wait for your massage is beautiful, relaxing and well decorated.
After going to this massage parlor for a couple of times the staff is extremely freindly and very clean. Rose's massages are very good for sore muscles, as she does a very good deep tissue massage. She is absolutely amazing!!! Yo Yo does a great medium massage. With a very friendly personality. While Maya is very good at walking on your back and working out the kinicks. I would highly recommend this parlor for anyone that want a great massage at a reasonable price. I'm telling everyone I know to come here!!! Thank you so much ?
Wow what an excellent experience we had today!!! I booked a couples massage for my boyfriend’s birthday today, was our first time trying Health Spa and it did not disappoint. Coco and the other sweet lady (sorry I did not catch her name) were FANTASTIC! They were professional and went above and beyond to give us a great first impression of their spa, we will most certainly be returning customers! Highly recommended the hot stones!
