I had a terrific experience with the Toano store from start to finish. I actually hesitated to go forward with a purchase based on the negative online reviews, but my multiple interactions with the store mgr (cannot remember name) and store assoc, Chelsea, were reassuring. While I was debating whether to proceed with a purchase, Chelsea let me know about a rebate being offered, but misquoted the rebate. The store mgr honored the quoted rebate, without me asking him to do so--outstanding customer service which led me to move forward on the purchase. I had a terrific experience with the Toano store from start to finish. I actually hesitated to go forward with a purchase based on the negative online reviews, but my multiple interactions with the store mgr (cannot remember name) and store assoc, Chelsea, were reassuring. While I was debating whether to proceed with a purchase, Chelsea let me know about a rebate being offered, but misquoted the rebate. The store mgr honored the quoted rebate, without me asking him to do so--outstanding customer service which led me to move forward on the purchase. Chelsea laid out the estimated arrival of the flooring (about 2 wks) and noted I would be contacted by the installers within a few days of the flooring being delivered. Everything was right on time, if not earlier than expected. Warren, with the installation crew out of Richmond was terrific in scheduling and confirming. The installation crew was truly incredible!! They arrived at the scheduled time (8:30 am), and although Chelsea had said they should be done in one day, I did not believe it--but they were. We had our entire upstairs flooring replaced, which equated to about 1500 square feet with many cutouts for oblong/octagon shaped rooms, fireplace, long meandering hallways, etc. They were done at 6:00 pm, and everything was spotless. They moved all the furniture back into the correct location and it looked great. The crew truly never stopped working. I am still amazed at how smoothly the whole process went, and I am kicking myself for not doing it sooner. The floors (hybrid Durvana flooring/vinyl) look beautiful. I am now wondering if I should look at doing the downstairs, so long as I can get that same crew out of Richmond.
