Antiques At the Old Store

Fantastic variety of actual antiques, dating from the 18thc forward. Housed in a 118 year old former general store and post office, it is a true collectors paradise. Carol is a warm, friendly, and knowledgeable owner. She welcomes antique enthusiasts, new and seasoned, and strives to have a selection to satisfy all levels of collector. Her shop is immaculate, items are well displayed and labeled. It's almost like being in the Abbey Aldrich museum at Colonial Williamsburg!

I enjoyed shopping in this lovely antique shop. It was full of unusual 18th and early 19th century antiques and accessories. The shop's atmosphere was very warm and friendly. I had a wonderful experience there.

This is a remarkable antique store! It is sorted and organized in a great way, and each of the pieces are beautifully displayed. She has a remarkable eye and there are tons of lovely items, from small tortoise cases, to large blanket trunks. Right now she happens to have several lovely tilt tables, which are a personal favorite. If you like old crocks she has some beauties as well. There's an amazing dish set I'm still coveting.
Tables, chests, and unique items galore. One of the best in Williamsburg. And, she knows the history of her own building:)
