I am so disappointed with my initial visit. After reading the reviews and calling the office to make an appointment, I was incredibly optimistic about seeing Dr. Lex. That quickly changed after my visit. The reception and assistant were both incredibly nice. However, I paid $500 for the initial appointment and never spoke to an actual health care professional. They immediately and repeatedly tried to push buying their products on me for almost the entire visit, tried to sell me on taking tests unrelated to any of the reasons why I was there, prescribed treatment based off of my own self diagnosis (again, never saw a doctor), and didn't know how to correctly interpret my lab results. This practice is definitely not as advertised but again, very sweet staff. Save your $500 initial visit payment for another more ethical provider.

Apparently things have changed in the 6 years since the last review...My initial evaluation appointment went well although during the recording of my medical history it seemed very unorganized. The dr definetly needed an assistant to help keep her on track. The staff was kind and considerate. The office itself was clean and pleasant.At my second appointment I waited while she reviewed all my lab work. I was overwhelmed by my results as there was a lot of information and she left the room on 2 occasions to tend to other patients, decreasing the time we had to discuss my results. Dr Lex is the real deal. At my first visit, she immediately ordered exrays, something that had not been done previously yet makes so much sense. Her wisdom, gentle, yet effective work continues to build upon each visit. Previously, I’d seen someone for neck and back issues and no tools were given to me, nor any exrays taken. I realized then how do you know what to go after if you can’t see the issue? After seeing my exrays, Dr Alex sent me home with a denneroll to lay on for 50 days and for the first time in many years my neck doesn’t hurt. She is compassionate and skillful. Great combination. I love that she’s practicing functional medicine. I must mention her staff…..she surrounds herself with an amazing support staff. Lovely peeps!
