I first started with Marie in 1991, she struck out on her own with No Rootz and I've been going there ever since. The staff is amazing!! Very personal experience, professional and provide amazing service. I drive from Chesapeake to get my hair done. Shannon is my girl but Brad, Melissa, Olivia and Marie have all done my hair over the years and I have always been very pleased with the outcome!! If I could give higher than 5 stars ? I would.

If you want amazing this is the salon for you. I have been going for over a year and have never been disappointed. My first visit I wanted to try highlights. My hair is auburn and I wasn't really sure exactly what to do. I turned everything over to Marie (the owner) and loved it! She helps me with everything from highlights, styling, products and hair smoothing. All of my family & friends love what Marie has done plus everywhere I go I get compliments from strangers! Everyone at this salon is so professional and talented. I have to make appointments in advance to be able to get a time with Marie! All of these stylists are top notch and on demand!Services: Shampoo & conditioning

Can't say enough regarding No Rootz salon. It starts off with friendly reception when you call in to set up an appointment. Then when you arrive, the salon is open space, lots of light flowing through reflecting a very clean and organized place. I highly recommend my stylist Brad! He is an absolute artist who listens to what you want done and works with you on the right color or highlights for your tresses. When you ask to snip off only half an inch - he will snip off half an inch ! He will not be scissor happy and make you cry by snipping off more than what you want as most of us am sure have experienced with some stylists! Brad works wonders with styling your hair, aptly putting the appropriate layers and snipping your hair to where it frames your face nicely. Will forever have my hair done here at No Rootz!
