Equinox Tyson's Corner impresses with its clean, modern setting, featuring a coveted lap pool--a rare find among DC Equinox locations. I'm really disappointed to share an unfavorable review of this location. While visiting family in the area for Christmas my partner and I stopped into this location to work out on Christmas Day. My parent is a long time member of equinox and has 8 guest passes. Unfortunately the very abrupt manager wouldn't allow him to use a guest pass for me. She said I could work out for a $75 charge. It was 12:45 pm and the gym closes at 2:09 pm. I said no thanks! They also wouldn't let me go downstairs to fill my water bottle and I had to practically beg to use the bathroom while my partner was working out. I guess the Equinox Tysons message is Profit over People.

THEY HAVE A SPA!!! A hidden secret you must try! The massage I received today by DELEIGH, was amazing! Her magical ability to find the tight spots and work all the muscles is spot on. DELEIGH's training, knowledge and experience combined with her soft-spoken professional manner, care and concern, always make me feel at ease. She takes the time to ask all the right questions up front and during massage, ensuring the pressure, heat, aroma, etc., are right for me. The spa is beautiful and inviting. The room was clean, appropriately lit and music was relaxing. The heated massage table is luxurious! They have a nice steam room and showers including towels and toiletries... read full review
