“Being new to the area it was great to finally have everything and I mean everything all in one place. From daycare to boarding to grooming to webcams, to the personal touches like a “room with a view” ( with a window ), snuggles, playtime and pool time if you like. They have so many options of activities and extra pampering to choose from at great prices, you won’t regret coming here. From walking in and smelling a clean facility to The employees being passionate about what they do. They gave me confidence and comfort as I was anxious about interactions with other dogs being we are fairly new dog parents to him,but it seems I need the training not the dog ?He did great. I watched the webcam all day. He’s all booked for his paw-cation and spa day now!“

“I can’t say enough great things about working with Mike. I came to him with my five-year-old dog who was reactive toward other dogs and generally anxious around people. What Mike did went far beyond simply addressing those issues: he helped build a better understanding between me and my dog. Over the 12 weeks we worked together (once a week), Mike provided a variety of training techniques and practical tips that made a huge difference in my dog’s behavior, obedience, and confidence. The training was real-world practice. We spent time at the Reston Town Center, surrounded by people and other dogs, applying everything in a real-life setting. I never imagined my dog could calmly sit or lie down in a busy store full of distractions, but that’s exactly what we achieved by week three. As for her dog reactivity, I can’t believe the difference! She’s always been a high-energy dog, so seeing her stay calm even when other dogs are barking or reacting is absolutely incredible.

Glad, who handled scheduling, was also fantastic. She was so accommodating and flexible whenever something unavoidable came up. The entire experience felt personal, thoughtful, and focused on real results.

“Very pleased with Woofies. Scheduled two walks a day for my two golden doodles for 4 days. The person assigned came every day on time and sent me a nice summary of the walk in addition to photos and a map of the path walked. Thank you Laura for taking care of my dogs and allowing me to feel confident that they are fine in my absence.“

“Old Mill has been our go to for grooming and boarding for almost ten years. The staff is attentive, kind and caring. Over the past year or so the cost of grooming has continued to rise. What I considered reasonable pricing once is now becoming too expensive. As I understand it, Old Mill is now under new ownership and changes being made may not be favorable. Rising costs to grooming that may impact groomers tips also not a good practice as the groomers work very hard and provide excellent service that is physically demanding. I was also saddened to learn the daycare facility that collaborated with Old Mill closed. It provide a bigger area to socialize and exercise for dogs being boarded for longer periods of time (half-day/full day). While I would recommend Old Mill based on the amazing staff and care they provide-I am hesitant going forward of the rising cost and the changes new ownership brings.“

“Very friendly humans. They took their time to answer all of my questions. I like that they have an outdoor space where the dogs are rotated to it every couple of hours. They treat my dog like a human child at daycare. They are very thoughtful and caring and they even have fun toy activities after nap time. I also appreciate the structured environment. I am very happy with Dogtopia and I feel comfortable with leaving my dog there.“
