I'm a first time dog parent and I felt strongly about finding a trainer that had a positive reinforcement, fear free training model that would also teach me how to communicate with my dog, that is exactly what I got. My dog was abused before I rescued him, causing him to be very fearful. Adia and staff helped me navigate his past trauma, helping him to feel safe with me, move past his fear of loud noises and avoid any kind of resource guarding (a direction that he was heading in quickly). Besides the amazing training aspect, Adia is trained in any and all canine wellness. She has so much knowledge that comes with the training expertise. She has helped me get my dog on a homemeade diet that he LOVES, helped me find the right enrichment toys, recommended vets/boarders/etc. The Woof Houze is also such a great place to socialize your pup! My dog isn't the best at using his voice to communicate with other dogs (due to his abuse history), but at Woof Houze we have trained professionals to help me with his interactions with other dogs and help him make friends safely. I cannot say enough good things about the Woof Houze, highly recommend! P.S. their Plank Rd. location is the cutest set up!!“
