The pro was booked to do cabinet paintings and stair rails/bar staining. The pro incorrectly applied the staining. When I asked why did it look like brown paint and was so dark, he kept saying that it will lighten up once it dries. Later, I called people who stains to asked what was wrong, they asked if he wiped it off, he looked crazy as if he didn’t know what I was talking about. I looked at videos and showed him as well. He said he didn’t know that’s how you do it. He joked that he would need to change his company’s name since it has “stains” in it and he doesn’t know how to actually apply it.
