Companion animal hospital is one of the kindest and most professional vet centers I've brought my girls to. Both Skitty and Hotdog7 are polar opposites, one super docile, the other a gabapentin hellcat. They were able to help skitty despite her tendencies and do so quickly. The also provided me with some free samples of food for the girls while Hotdog7 was adjusting to her new home.
Outstanding vet care! Dr. Kelly is the best veterinarian I have ever seen and I am 62 and have had animal companions all my life. She is compassionate, wicked smart, and kind. Her staff is also excellent — everyone greets my precious dog, addressing her by her name and giving her tons of affection. I can’t recommend this vet hospital enough!
I have a cat with a tail that’s turned in on itself at the end (the X-rays are fascinating) and a disjointed spine at the lower portion of his body. I was bringing him in for updated meds (Gabapentin for pain due to these birth defects) when the vet recommended Solensia, a medication that’s commonly used for arthritis pain in cats but may be useful in treating his everyday pain. She also informed us that new guidelines for Gabapentin allow me to give him a higher dose (yay!). She was very willing to work with my desire for transdermal administration of these meds. He’s previously been awful at pill-taking.
