“Stylist were friendly, fast and available for two walk ins. As a person that Hates getting a haircut and never can explain what I want or find someone who knows better, I can say the stylist made me feel very comfortable, she looked at a picture on my sister's phone and said no problem even with the mess from another stylist. She did a Great job! I am from Kentucky visiting my sister in VA. Yes I would definitely recommend the Salon and the stylists. Lol it's a 12 hour drive but it was worth it ! Thanks I will be back!“

“I was able to get a pedicure here as a walk-in without a lengthy wait. When I asked how much the pedicures were, I was told $40. There was only one man doing pedicures, and he seated me while finishing up with another customer. As I was waiting, a gentleman showed up, and was seated at a chair as well. The pedicurist started to rush, and was adding water, and soaking tablets to myself, as well as the gentleman that arrived after me. I did not appreciate the pedicurist putting his hands into the male customers tub, and then coming over and sticking his hands into my tub without changing gloves, as the man appeared to be somewhat dirty and unkempt. After a while, another nail tech came out, and took over the man's pedicure. I was relieved because my nail tech seemed to relax, and slow down a bit. I happened to glance over, and saw that the lady doing the other man's pedicure was literally scrubbing his legs and feet with soap, and a brush. I have never seen this done before, but it confirmed the fact that his feet must have indeed been dirty!!When it was time for my polish, my tech brought out a U.V. light, and I informed him that I only do gel polish on my fingers, and never on my toes, as it is rather hard to remove. He then said that my pedicure would be $35 instead of the $40 he had originally quoted. Why didn't he let me know up front that there was a price difference, and offer me the lower price? Granted, $5 is not alot, and it wasn't so much about the money, but that he just assumed that I wanted gel polish. When I went to pay, I was told that they didn't accept credit cards!!! She said that I could write a check, but I did not have my checkbook with me.There were no visible signs anywhere stating that credit cards were not accepted. In this day and age, who in the world doesn't accept credit cards?!? Luckily, I had enough cash on hand to pay for the pedicure and tip, as it could have been a rather embarrassing situation. It's certainly not the best pedicure I have ever had, but it was good enough that I will probably return, I just need to remember to bring cash next time.“
