My birthday is coming up in a few days, so I decided to treat myself to a Classic Cut at Jack's after researching all the top of the line barbershops for men around Roanoke City. I Googled it and this brought me to their website. After signing up it gave me an opportunity to schedule a date and time for my haircut among the dates and times available. I found this system very convenient and received a confirmation email and a phone call on the day before my scheduled appointment. The Classic Cut consisted of deep cleansing shampoo, scalp and neck massage, precision haircut and style and an aroma therapy hot towel. Very nice men's barber shop. Jack's is an all inclusive "spa"-type facility ranging from hair cuts to pedicures to "manscaping". Walk-ins are welcome but it seems appointments are easiest as the stylist stay pretty busy. The hair cuts are consistent and quality at a price that is comparable to any of the big name men's hair salons. The staff is very nice. I'm told that you can BYO alcohol and store it there to have while in the chair. Have been coming here for a couple of years to get my haircut. The staff here is so friendly. Amanda, who cuts my hair, is a friend, part time therapist, and cuts hair exceptionally well. It's an odd combination to have a hair salon in a clothing store, but it works very well.
