Higher Ground Hair is the best salon in Roanoke. The salon is clean and always smells good. The stylists are welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere is pleasant and inviting. And the stylists do a great job on many types of hair. My mom, myself, my dad and my son all go there and they treat us all with kindness respect and compassion. This is a top notch salon and I highly recommend it!

I went for a cut and color with Wendy, as soon as I met her I was relieved to have met such a kindred spirit and knew I was in good hands. We talked for a while about the ideas I had as she got to know my sad 'do. Not only did I leave with a new style and color, I was elated I had such a good time with everyone. Thank you all for making me feel so welcome. I appreciated the atmosphere and cleanliness of the salon as well as the kindness and compassion of all the staff. It was well beyond my expectations! I'm thankful to whoever cancelled so I was able to get in there even earlier than I anticipated. I can't wait to visit again!

Went for a mani and pedi with Wendy. It was such a great experience! She was easy to talk to. She even followed up after the appointment which is something you don’t get very often. The whole experience felt like just hanging with a friend and getting your nails done. Definitely will be my go to nails place!
