We unfortunately had one of our babies Tiger get very sick very quickly and knew we could not let him suffer. They were so kind and compassionate to myself and my son (his cat daddy) let walked us through the whole process and made us feel so much better about the situation we were facing. I cannot thank the team at EVSS Roanoke enough for saving my dog, Tiki. She was admitted in a life-threatening crisis with ITP and was actively hemorrhaging. When the staff realized they didn't have a critical medication in stock, they went above and beyond to hunt it down. They turned a terrifying, desperate situation into a recovery, and they gave us back a stable, happy family member. If you are in an emergency, this is the team you want in your corner.
Care and attention was excellent. Staff recognized the significance of my pet's emergency and triaged him appropriately, even during harrowing weather conditions....they were there. From the moment I walked in they knew who I was, my pets name and why I was there ( I had filled out the on-line form before arriving ).
< br />The receptionists were kind and compassionate. The Vet Techs were incredibly communicative and friendly. Dr. Kate was amazingly understanding, explained everything in detail, and took her time with me and my pet. I never felt rushed or treated as an inconvenience.
