From the moment I entered, the most cheerful and kind and positive person met me and my sis to get us started and make the whole process easy and enjoyable for us on our girls day out. As a person who believes in And loves Jesus, many of these kinds of businesses can be highly offensive.. honestly why it's taken me so long to go back to any tattoo/piercing place to get another... but this place is incredibly family friendly, without the myraids of grotesque pictures all over the wall.. instead most are really just artistic, fun and creative and interesting... so many cool things to look at too! Seriously.. they even have tiara! This is the place yo go for any reason., esp if you are a believer and a family person. :) with those two being my first experience here tho... seriously this place can't go wrong.. they are gold and a rare find! There was also this woman that was crossed paths with a couple of times while we were there named Lindsay and she made a point to genuinely connect with us each time. Such incredible people ❤️. Now for the climax of this entire stay... The tattoo artist who did our piercings was above anything we could of even known to anticipate. Her calm and happy manner was genuine and palpable.. she had a charisma that lit up the room, and a professional knowledge and ease that she executed with precision and in a non hurried perfect pace. She even offered us juice at the end.. my sister commented that she could be a surgeon. Lol. I told her I felt like she is the only person that should do piercings ever. Haha. I'm floored by our experience today.. its an incredible highlight of our family time together that we will remember and cherish for the rest of our lives. As we left every single one of them were up there just as amazing as at the start of our visit. Just really beautiful and "real" and gifted individuals. I count it a pleasure and honor to of gone there over another place because I can't imagine EVER going anywhere else!“

“I was recommended this shop by an acquaintance at a store near me! I had been struggling to find an affordable and understanding shop. I walk in a little tight on money and called prior. Let me tell you, Jay is a ray of sunshine and a complete honor to be around. He radiates happiness and good vibes. I consulted with Jay and introduced to Colter. He had a walk in tattoo before me and I waited patiently. Not an issue at all considering we were all walk ins. Once Colter finishes up, he consults with me more and sets up. The professionalism and above and beyond nature of Colter and everyone on the team is well worth it. Connection is a big thing for me as well. Cary Street tattoo should be a no brainer! “They were really nice for my first ever tattoo that I had done by Lindsay, who rules! Everyone here was nice and welcoming, and boy was I nervous so I really appreciated that. I found the vibe to be very therapeutic. Tattoos do indeed hurt, and I found it helpful to look around at all the cool stuff they have all over their shop.

Cleanliness: It was more than clean. Hard to describe how much respect and focus they had on cleanliness. Also, Lindsay was very verbose and informative about treating a tattoo as an open wound and all the important considerations that come with that. I was clueless as a noob, so this helped me out a ton

“Black Rabbit is an awesome place to get a tattoo! I’ve gotten two tattoos with Roman over three sessions and its always been a wonderful experience! The work Roman puts out is second to none and they are very caring and accommodating when things get tough haha. Prices are always very reasonable and worth it for the quality.

“Loved my experience here. Nick listened to what I wanted and he delivered it. He is such a pleasure to be around and very easy to talk to. He had a playlist playing while he tattooed me and there are so many focal points in his room (which is upstairs of the shop), to focus on while working on your breathing to keep yourself calm. Nick has been tattooing for 17 years and his work speaks for itself. I'd been wanting to get tattooed by a Nick for probably 3 years now. But I wanted it to be a custom piece. I've come to love the traditional style more than I thought I would. So I knew Nick was the man to create this ship for me. As he said, he has a gentle hand. I felt comfortable in his presence and enjoyed my experience here. The shop is clean and well maintained inside.“
