Richmond Tattoo Club as a whole is a wonderful, bright, and inclusive environment. Every person running the operation treats you with kindness and respect. I live in North Carolina and travel to get work done here and it is worth every mile. Rosie (@rosemaryjane), has given me nothing but quality and beautiful work in the last 5 years I’ve been seeing her for my tattoos. She has a very keen and talented eye for any critter or buggo you may want tattooed. I got my first tattoo with her and I’m so glad I did! Momo is always a delight to speak with on the phone and at the front desk. They have the best energy and smile that will make you feel warmly welcomed when you walk in. Zoe is a Spark and very personable, super fun to talk to. Sterling is the definition of “vibes”— always hella cool with style. I feel like I just described the shop team as though they were like The Tattooed Spice Girls, but I think it suits tbh. If you are nervous or wary about getting your first tattoo because of how intimidating and judgy other shops can feel, this place is worth a call and a scheduled visit to prove to you that you’ll be in good hands.
