“This shop is run by 2 sister's. It is in a great location. They take appointments and walk-ins. They do children's, men & women's hair. My hair is thinning. By the time I was done ? my husband said I looked 10 years younger. They conrowed the front to eliminate thinning areas and box braided the back to add fullness. I was stunned! It was my 1st time getting braids...why did I wait so long. I will definitely be back?“

I can confidently say that in my 10 years of getting highlights, balayage, all-over color, Rachel is the best there is. I lived in Richmond, Delaware, Pennsylvania and NYC and I’ve truly have found no one better. I have naturally nearly black hair and Rachel does her highlights so perfectly that I have gone 6+ months (hello, pandemic) without seeing her and my grown out highlights still looked amazing! If you’re looking for an incredible stylist who knows what’s she’s doing, is down-to-earth, doesn’t try to sell you on a million products (I don’t think she’s ever tried to sell me on anything in the last 3 years I’ve been seeing her), and wants to make her clients the best version of themselves, then go see Rachel.“

“I absolutely love being a client here! I first started going to Martina at Tony Turner Unleashed when they were located downtown years ago as an undergrad student. After moving out of the city I tried a few other stylists but I reconnected with Martina after a horrific hack job (I went to another stylist for a blow dry & trim and left with an uneven hair cut that left me in shambles!). I am 100% natural and care for my curls w/protective styles and no heat styles between presses so shambles was truly an understatement haha. Luckily Martina was able to assess the damage beforehand via pictures. She ultimately had to even out my hair and cut it in layers. She walked me through everything that day and had me check out what she was doing in the mirror which was a relief. And I take the 25 min drive to see her only for trims, silk presses, and now color. I decided to die my hair for the 1st time ever and Martina did an amazing job and I've since gotten it touched up and loved it each time! Martina and her husband Tony are always welcoming! I never have to worry about being double booked or random price increases because I pay in advance. My hair responds well to their products and they smell great. I can truly say I feel Martina cares about my hair and curls and makes sure it's healthy above anything else!“

“I was looking for an affordable salon close to my parents’ house for a simple cut and found Zkuts. The outside doesn’t look like much but the inside is clean and spacious. Krystal was the sweetest stylist! She made me feel comfortable within the first few minutes and was so personable. I got my hair washed, massaged, and cut beautifully all for $35. Anywhere else would charge me over $60 and that’s for just a cut! Highly recommend.“
