This is the reason I LOVE supporting small businesses. I have been going to see Dr. Tiwari since I moved to Richmond years ago. Family Eye care of Virginia gives warm vibes. It's giving someone might be making a pot of fresh collards in the back :). The office feels like your oldest aunties house, which I love. Some may say it's dated, but I disagree. It's one of those feelings where you're like this place has GOOD BONES. More importantly, if it ain't broke don't fix it. When you walk in you're greeted by the receptionist (his wife I think). Finally found a place where I feel comfortable and well cared for, as opposed to being just a number in a puppy mill type place where the emphasis is on volume only. Very very pleased.

I've been a patient of Dr Tiwari's for about 10 years and have nothing but the highest praise for his skills and professionalism. He always takes his time with the exam and with me personally to make certain that I'm satisfied with the check-up or prescription change. In a world where 99% of the physicians you see are rushing from one patient to the next conducting impersonal exams, it is refreshing to get truly personalized service.
