Dong's Karate

My son is preparing for his Black Belt exam and has been going to Dong's Karate for sometime now. Master Grossman and Instructor Steven at the West Broad location are both exceptional teachers. They are patient, attentive and knowledgeable in their teaching skills and very responsive to any questions we have as parents. I have seen an amazing transformation with my son's ability to take constructive criticism, his follow through with goal setting and his attitude towards chores and community duties (volunteering). I highly recommend Dong's Karate!

As a student, I can only say that this school is nothing short of the best. It doesn't matter who you are, because everybody learns the same things, meaning that everyone is equal. The instructors are genuinely good at teaching, ensuring that you learn while also having fun. Not only do you learn martial arts, but you also learn important qualities and aspects of life, such as discipline and respect. This school has truly inspired me to work hard and have a healthy lifestyle.

This martial arts studio is known in the Richmond area for its amazing instructors but also for its commitment to mentor young people to find purpose and respect. My kids look forward to their weekly classes and are proud of their accomplishments regularly. Highly recommend Dong’s.
