I received the care I needed and desired from the gyn I was seeing. Once I became pregnant I was switched to another Dr without warning. It soon became very clear that making sure my physical and emotional comfort were not a priority. As I neared my second trimester I switched to another practice.

Urgent surgery consult has been rescheduled 4 times so far in the past month due to scheduling errors. One of the times I wasn't contacted directly until after they had already cancelled my pre-op appointment. Don't schedule with this practice unless you're willing to accommodate your life to their schedule.

It makes me very sad to have to write this poor review. I have been a patient of Dr. Neda Hashemi since 2004. She delivered both my children - now ages 17 and 15. I LOVE her - she's the BEST! However, her office team is so incompetent and has such poor customer service that I just cannot bear to keep fighting them to see Dr. Hashemi. It took us weeks to get a call back after leaving multiple messages and then months to actually make an appointment. After finally being seen we stood at the reception desk for more than 15 minutes trying to make a follow up appointment. The young lady (who had clearly not been trained) finally asked us to leave and she would call us to make the follow up appointments. After more than two weeks of no return calls, the Office Manager/Practice Manager Mary called. She booked follow up appointment via phone. Disappointed but not wanted to give up by any means. However on the day of the first virtual appointment she called to ask me who booked the appointment because the MD as not there that day. She had no recollection that she booked the appointment. We were made to feel like WE had done something wrong. As if we could even schedule our own appointments. More disappointment and significant concerns about the next in person appointment. The next in person appointment was another failure as it was booked at the wrong office; or at a minimum not communicated to me that is was not at Reston where we had done ALL previous appointments. The receptionist could not communicate effectively and once again Mary/Practice Manager was needed. She was very short and pretentious; she had no recollection that she booked the appointment with me after previous issues. She spoke to me in a condescending manner and across the office waiting room with no regards for my privacy. That was days ago and there has been ZERO attempt to reconcile or apologize for the third mistake. It pains me to have to find a new provider, Dr. Hashemi is wonderful but I just cannot put myself or my daughter through these poor customer service experiences over and over. It should not be that hard to make and attend appointments. I have a feeling Dr. Hashemi does not even know how her office team is disappointing her and chasing away prospective patients. I cannot in good conscience ever recommend this practice to anyone given my experience. Sad and totally avoidable!
