They charged high fees including a final fee to close my account as I spent several hours terminating my captivity. I am currently using Merrill Edge to hold my assets, however I find myself using Ameritrade to get information. The Merrill Market Pro screen is week. Ameritrades is alot better. The Ameritrade Trade Architect is so much easier to use. And it streams CNBC in the corner which is awesome. Easy to follow stocks. The Merril Pro is good for looking at your portfolio's p&l and i like the estimated dividend screen... Also research reports from S&P and Moody (i think) are easy to access. Big negative is no easy to use level 2 quotes.

I have been a client for about 15 years and have always had exceptional service. My Financial Advisor is excellent and all of the people working with him are very competent.
