We researched other outdoor lighting firms. Virginia Outdoor Lighting is by far the best we contacted. Beware of franchise firms for pricing. Best price, exceptional service (even trimmed our shrubs to permit unobstructed lighting), and exceptional follow up. We decided we wanted a different "look" after the first night, contacted Jason, and he showed up in Williamsburg the next day with the perfect fix (at no additional cost). Jason and his firm have our unqualified praise. Don't sign with anyone else until you have talked to Jason Holder (owner).
My wife and I hired Virginia Outdoor Lighting, and we could not be happier with our decision! From the moment Jason came to our home for the design estimate, he exhibited professionalism and attention to detail. We were initially on the fence with adding a couple extra lights (as recommended), but Jason and his team were very accommodating, letting us see how we felt with the lights that they initially installed to allow us an opportunity to decide if we wanted to add any additional lights. We ended up wanting to add two more outdoor lights, in which Virginia Outdoor Lightning came out the very next day to install the additional lights. Jason was nothing short of excellent in terms of his customer service—he is VERY responsive and always promptly answered our texts, calls, and numerous questions, when needed. He truly listened to us, and unlike other businesses seemingly these days, it was very apparent that he understands how to successfully run a business by putting the customer first! Not to mention, the installation and the outdoor lighting looks absolutely amazing and was exactly what we were envisioning.
