Lee and JP are both young guys who work like machines and act like they could lead a division 1 football team to conference championship. Morgan flutters in the background like a wedding planner, and thats lucky, because she is one of the nicest and genuine people walking the Lord's earth, and you can tell if there is an issue her world constricts down until not only is the detail resolved, but I am thanking her profusely for the effort and attention to minutia. I would wait months for these people to handle anything to do with my home, there is no one else now.
I’ve been here twice now. The shop is clean and nicely decorated and the atmosphere is peaceful and professional. The stylists are patient and have gentle hands. The Spirit of God is evident there.During this visit, I received a deep condition and small waist length knotless braids with small parts installed. Not only did they come out beautifully, but I was also able to leave the shop and enjoy the rest of the wonderful weather and daylight with my family which is unusual for me when receiving this hairstyle.When you find good stylists you know. My family and I will return.❤️

Brandywine kennels took such good care of our black lab when he stayed with them for 2 weeks during Christmas time! When I called every few days to check on him they would give me detailed updates and were always very kind. Our sweet boy had always stayed with his trainer when we lived in Texas but since we’ve moved to VA with the military, we had to find a kennel for during the holidays. We are so happy to have found Brandywine!

I looked up many places and reviews for a pedicure in the Petersburg colonial heights area that would be a relaxing and personal experience. I am not a regular pedicure customer and had never been to apothic before. The reviews were good and honestly they had the best time opening for what I was looking for. The inside is beautiful; set inside the old Hiram Hanes Edgar Allen Poe house in historic old town Petersburg it really has a rustic vibe. It's spring time and the fresh flowers everywhere were stunning and really lifted it up. There is a little boutique in the front. A little out of my price range but some nice dresses. I was greeted promptly and guided to the mid section where my nail tech took me almost 30 min before my appointment time. I was early and she was ready. Kim did an amazing job and we had a lovely conversation. She is very down to earth, accommodating, and kind. There's only one chair so you aren't sitting in a row of strangers with their feet soaking. Preferable. The chair is very comfortable and has a massage panel. She cleaned up my eyebrows as well, asking questions about how I'd like them etc. overall a very positive experience in nails. Did not get my hair done. If you appreciate the 1 on 1 with some stuff to look at, this is it.

I have been taking my grandson to him for the past 15 of 16 years and he will not let anyone else cut his hair and He gives Rick a big hug when he is done. Thanks to me his grandma he is a big hugger. Rick is a swift and efficient barber. I am amazed how well he can use that knife to shave with too, mostly for the older guys.
The owner, who is also the barber, has been a friend of mine for many years. He has cut my son's hair as a boy, who is now 30 and he now cuts mine. I won't let anyone else cut it. He is very dependable, professional, and has a very clean shop. I recommend him. Joe

I had my first appointment here on the 29th of June. Had to check this place out since it had really good reviews. I was most definitely not disappointed with Calvin. He’s the man & a good human being. Definitely coming by here every weekend until I’m done with my school here. 10/10 for my military folks as well, highly recommended.

We had to find a plumber fast this October (2022) due to our water heater leaking and no water due to loosing pressure. I called early morning (around 6 am) to the City Point Plumbers, Mike responded and took my information, was nice and patient with me. We arranged the time and then Mike worked with us because we could not be home at the time arranged, and he still was communicating clearly and agreed to send technicians in later. Then technicians came out to get the scope of the problem, delivered new tank same day, replaced the water pressure switch, hauled old tank away, charge was decent for the emergency situation, and everything was handled to our satisfaction. Highly recommend this company, professional and good customer service, and fast response and great communication, that was really a saver in our situation. Thank you!

Very friendly staff. I had to have my cat put down and i was recommended this place by my aunt who spoke highly of them. They were very kind and understanding of my situation. They did everything in their pwoer to comfort and help with everything i was going through that day. A few days after i had picked my cat up from being cremated, i recieved a letter in the mail with all the staff's signatures ans a very kind message. I was put back into tears of kindness. I will be back if i ever need anything done to one of my pets. Thank you to all of the staff for being so kind.
