“I have been coming to A Good Day Hair Salon for years. I've seen Carli (now gone), Paula, and Kellie. I have gotten keratin treatments. Olaplex, highlights and lowlights, and updos for formal occasions. The service is exceptional. The prices are very competitive. There is excellent continuity between stylists if you need to switch for some reason. Kellie is, by far, the best stylist I've ever been to. She is also personable and charming, and most importantly, she listens! She provides excellent advice as well. She takes her time, but she doesn't keep you in the chair all day. I absolutely won't let anyone else touch my hair!“

“Jean is the absolute BEST! When I came to her back in summer 2022, my scalp was bleeding from a skin condition that flairs up due to stress or low immunity. She took a special camera to it and showed me how bad it was. She did a special scalp treatment and conditioner from Korea, and it has helped tremendously! Not only that, but my hair was grey, purple, and brown from me messing with box color, and she fixed it. I love her personality and her services.

If you go to Jean at Lavanda, please respect her, her time, and keep your appointment as there are no walk-ins. She is the only one servicing the salon. Plus, there is no haggling on prices. One man came in while I was getting my hair done, and he was so rude to her talking about "In my country this, and in my county that...". This salon is upscale with services to match that need to be respected, so please respect her and her salon.“

“I was looking for a nail salon in this particular area....because I may or may not have needed an excuse to hit up insomnia cookies right after. this nail salon is located right next to insomnia cookies across the street from GMU.

we arrived a little late - I made sure to call ahead to let them know. Tina was very accommodating. they had us pick out our colors for our pedicure & my daughter got to pick out two colors for her manicure. I believe it was Helen that worked on my daughters nails & she was very gentle with my daughter. she double checked to make sure she was comfortable & even brought out an extra cushion to help her relax in the pedicure chair. I really appreciated that since she can't actually lean back into the chair.

Tina did my pedicure & Gel-X set. she noticed my heels were looking a bit rough & she stood up....and freaking polished the hell out of my heel. my heels are so incredibly soft now, it's not even funny! once the pedicure was complete, she took me to her station to do my gel-x set. she let me pick out the colors I wanted from the design picture I sent her. whenever I had any issues with the manicure, she would stop & fix it so I would be happy. her attention to detail was phenomenal. she free handed the little vines and leaves I wanted on my nail perfectly. my only issue was that her spray paint gun wasn't working so she had to do my ombre by hand. this wasn't even her fault, but the white powder she mixed into the white nail polish was a bit clumpy. she did her best to get rid of them, but it's still a bit noticeable.
