    Last night I attended a breathwork class at Studio D and had a chance to meet the owner Debbie. This space is probably the most beautiful and thoughtfully decorated multipurpose spaces in Richmond. When I brought that up to Debbie, she said that it was her tenth year in the space and so it seems she has had the time to build something special. What is really unique about this place is that it has a spacious lobby/shop that just feels like a place I would like to go and enjoy a cup of tea and chat with friends while waiting for the next class.     I attended my first class at Studio D last night, Gentle Movement with Judy. It was wonderful - I went home full of energy and woke this morning with no pains. The studio is so inviting and calming. It was just a great experience. I will be going back.

    Debbie started teaching under me at a local club here in Richmond. I just saw so much potential in her that I asked her if she wanted to teach. I think she was a bit hesitant to take on such a huge task but I knew she would be wonderful once she was over this jitters. She started teaching parts of my classes while studying the art of Yoga and then one day she just took to it like a duck takes to water. She grew into this fantastic teacher with this vast knowledge of Yoga and the human body in general. I am amazed she took to it so quickly and she was such a natural it was amazing to watch.
