I was referred to HQ Painting by my listing agent while prepping a house for sale.I have to say that from start to finish I was genuinely impressed by Ivan the owner and his team at HQ Painting. Sometimes it seems difficult to find quality work these days, and even more so, someone who takes pride in their work. Both of those qualities are definitely present with this team. I could tell it was very important to Ivan that if his name is on the job he wanted it to look right.Ivan and his team painted my kitchen cabinets and did wall and trim touchups throughout the entire house and painted some entire rooms. He also stripped and restained the rear deck as well as arranged for a carpenter to repair some damaged hardboard siding. Now that the work is complete I couldn’t be more pleased with how it all turned out, and I’m happy to have found HQ Paint for all of my future paint needs.I HIGHLY recommend them.

They were able to kill the yellow jacket nest and take care of removing several infested pots. Excellent customer service!

I had a really good experience today with ThermaCool. I came home to find my AC was not keeping up with the thermostat setting. I called a few places and they didn’t consider what I had going on an emergency and said they couldn’t get out until the next day.I came across ThermaCool and saw they had a 5star rating and so I decided to give them a shot. Eric called back right away and said he had no problem coming out to check things out. He didn’t even have a company van because all his work vehicles were out on calls. He drove his personal vehicle over to check out the problem, which I thought showed dedication to his work and great customer service skills. He was diligent, knowledgeable, and very friendly. He diagnosed my problem, which was a bad capacitor.Once replaced, our home was finally cooling again. I would consider this excellent service and I found the price more than fair. I would definitely recommend you give this company a try and I will be referring them to friends and family. My wife are going to be looking into joining their yearly (twice a year) maintenance program.We appreciate you guys at ThermaCool!
MAS Contractors were a delight to work with. Raul, the owner responded quickly to my request and was very helpful in helping me select a new color since my current roof clashed with my new siding. In less than a week I had a new roof which his crew completed in just one day. I was very pleased with the results, especially since it completed so quickly and was so affordable. I would highly recommend them and plan to use them again for future projects.

I went to Salon del Sol for the first time on 7/11/2024 to get a simple haircut, and thanks to Joyce I walked out with a beautiful, layered bob that was just what I needed. Plus the additional amenities — neck and shoulder massage, refreshments, warm towelette during the hair wash — were all divine. I’m so happy with my cut and highly recommend Joyce and this salon!

I was visiting RVA and needed to get my nails done. I stopped here and here is my true review. Even though one day later the design in my mail started to fail and I had to drive back to the shop 20 mins I still will give them 4 stars. From the beginning the customer service was nice. I walked in and had to wait about 15-20mins. (Which was okay) and a young mail tech named "Min" serviced me. She was the sweetest ! She took good care of my pedicure and nails. She was very through & very creative with her designs. I had a ingrown toe nail and she took good care of that toe! She also recommended an toe ointment to help keep my nails clear and clean of fungus that they sell in the store! I thought this was great. They were so sweet in there and even when I came back the next day they saw me instantly and had "Min" correct the issue and get my nails repaired. I'm a sucker for good customer service so I'll definitely be back. Thanks LE Nails ! Tip: Yelp had the address wrong the address is 5702 Hull st (they had 7510 Hulls st)

I went to see Jackie at C&C, and we vibed so hard--soulmate sisters! She and her colleagues have YEARS of experience. They have the greatest possible salon quality combined with prices so reasonable, I was stunned! I know I'm the exclamation point queen, but I don't know how else to express the Greatest hair experience of my life!!!!!(***I wanted to add that I have over a foot of hair now to Donate to Wigs for Kids, extra awesome bonus that they suggested at C & C ?)

I wish I got the lady name who did my hair. She was amazing. The shampoo wash so relaxing omg!!!! I’ve never had my hair blown out before and as of now no more relaxers. She had my hair bouncing and wind blowing threw it. My hair is very thick and i always keep putting relaxers in to be able to manage it. But not no more. As of now this my new spot. Price was very affordable.
Great place with very friendly staff. Shout out to Esmerlyn. It's best if you can speak some spanish. If you can't, at least have Google Translate out, along with a photo or two of what you want done. If that, or the concept of a little language-related misunderstanding scares you.. might not be the right place for you. For me, it definitely is. They do great work and the atmosphere is awesome.
I used to drive nearly 1 hour to go see a barber who did a decent job. Now that I’ve discovered this place, I don’t even have to drive 10 minutes and they do an even better job than any barber I’ve tried in Virginia. There’s also no wait list or appointment only. Haircut and beard trim with straight razor to line it all up was just $30. You can’t beat that anymore
No one speaks english in there so i just write down what i want for my soon and google translates to spanish .. they read my phone and then we are good.. they cut my sons hair great.. the owner by far gave my son best hair cut hes ever had also Biannca or some lady name starts with a B she was working two sundays ago and gave my son a great hair cut.. very friendly staff i will continue to always go there for haircuts im not going any where else but there.. other hair cutting places ive went in that area (jeff davis) none of them would even acknowledge my presence when i walked no one spoke to me looked at me nothing (15 people working) so i left and found this place glad i did glad they didnt treat me poorly bc i couldnt speak spanish google helped us translate and everything went well

Artistic Stone sources and installed our very long island counter top more than years ago and did a wonderful job, were reasonably priced and were great to work with. Unfortunately despite my warnings that we don’t play golf in the house, my husband swung his golf club and took a chip out of the corner of stone. I immediately called ASD. They quickly responded, gave me a fair quote, scheduled right away and sent a very knowledgeable repair associate, Mr. Kenny, over to fix the damage. Mr Kenny and River a few min early and quickly went to work. The chip was deep and in an awkward spot and he made it look good as new. Cleaned up everything and even resealed the seem which had worn over time and refused to use my trash can so I wouldn’t have any risk of the materials in there. Very, very happy with our experience.

I was warmly greeted by the receptionist at the Ironbridge location. My dental hygienist, Margaret Ann, was the best I've even had. She was informative to my areas of plaque build up, knowledgeable about the method of treatment, and thoroughly enjoyed her job. The dentist was very friendly and seemed to truly care about his patients. It was such a wonderful experience that I canceled my sons appointments with a different dental practice so they could be seen at the pediatric practice at Virginia Family Dentistry. I was so pleased!

Holly is a highly experienced, professional who provides true muscle therapy. In just a couple of months she’s made a huge difference for me. I have had the Lavender Dreams and the Neuromuscular Cupping and both are wonderful. The cupping gets into deep tissue and works out those hard knots. I highly recommend Holly. You won’t find anyone better!
