Warning, Don't buy their flooring. The advertising is just this side of fraud. I paid a lot of money for two rooms of vinyl flooring. Within two years, it chipped, peeled, split, and warped. The warranty is a joke. It blames the consumer. I am a senior citizen with one dog. According to the warranty, I hit the boards too hard when installing even though only certain boards were defective, my house had extreme temperatures, I guess I live on one of the poles, had very high humidity like in the tropics and didn't use my ac or furnace or dehumidifier, and other unlikely and unconscionable things like too much traffic on the floor even though I basically live alone. And of course mopped with too much water even though the floor is supposed to be waterproof. My furniture is heavy for me but not any heavier than average, another item on the warranty. Not worth saving money with this company when one will have to replace the floor within a few years and
I just had a kitchen floor redone recently, after having a washing machine overflow and causing damage to the floor. Because of that, home insurance was involved, as well as having a company come in and get the moisture out of the flooring before wood floor was put down. I dealt mostly with Brenda and she was AMAZING.. There were lots of complications on the insurance end, and with the company doing water damage repair work. I also picked a wood that turned out to be wrong for our old house, due to an uneven floor. There must have been 20 calls with Brenda about all of it, she was unfailing cheerful and helpful. Brenda made sure I was happy with everything. Brenda is a treasure..give her a raise:) I highly recommend this lumber liquidators, as Kyle and Daniel were also helpful as well, when Brenda wasn't there. 5 stars! Joann Wagner
Stopped in the store to pickup a sample of flooring. I had to provide name and address in order to receive a sample? within a couple of days I then understood why they needed that information and that when the calls everyday began, not only one person calling me but three of them. Every single day until I finally went in and purchased the flooring, paid cash because I felt like the counter person Brenda had talked me into purchasing more flooring than I needed and I didn't want to have to wait for refund on my credit card or wait for a personal check to clear the bank before I could get my refund on the unused flooring. We installed the flooring and was really not pleased with the quality of the flooring. But I purchased it so after opening some of the boxes your kind of stuck with it. After installing the floor, indeed we had to much flooring. So I took the unopened boxes back to the store for a refund and was told by the store clerk that because I paid cash he was not able to give me a cash refund, the corporate office in Toano, Va. would have to mail me a check and I should receive within 1 to 3 weeks. So waited the 3 weeks and no refund check, called corporate office and spoke with customer service person and she advised me the store clerk should have never told me that and they never issue refunds within 3 weeks and that it could take up to 5 weeks to be issued and that I should be patient. So now it's been 8 weeks and I call corporate office again on 12/29/17 and customer service person tells me the check has been issued on 12/20/17 and I should receive it soon. I explained to her that I only live 60 miles from the corporate office and it shouldn't take long for the check to arrive by mail, and she said oh well it's around the holidays so it might take a little longer. Well we now are on 1/10/18 and still no check. CHECKS IN THE MAIL, RIGHT!!!!!!. I will never buy anything else from these Liar's and furthermore my husband is a remodeling contractor and he will no be taking his business there either.
