About Spine & Orthopedic Pain Center
Spine & Orthopedic Pain Center has received a variety of reviews from patients about their experiences. Many patients have praised the professionalism and care provided by the staff. Dr. Winifred Bragg is often highlighted for her ability to listen and address patient concerns effectively. One patient shared how, after struggling with severe foot pain and visiting several doctors, they found relief after seeing Dr. Bragg, expressing true gratitude for her help. Another patient noted the fantastic service from Dr. Bragg and her staff during their first visit, mentioning a quick diagnosis for back pain and a clear plan moving forward. By the second appointment, they experienced a significant improvement in pain levels. However, not all experiences have been positive. One patient expressed frustration with another doctor's approach to diagnosing a finger issue, feeling that their concerns were not adequately addressed. This led to seeking a second opinion, where they received a correct diagnosis of a common ganglion cyst. Additionally, this patient raised concerns about billing practices, claiming they were charged for services not authorized or received. Overall, while many patients have found relief and effective treatment at the Spine & Orthopedic Pain Center, there are ongoing concerns regarding communication and billing practices that potential patients may want to consider.
I did my best to explain the issue thoroughly, but she remained fixated on her initial diagnosis. I'm perplexed by what's happening to my finger, prompting me to seek resolution at the office. Despite lacking medical expertise, I described it as a sensation akin to a bone protrusion. Despite my attempts to convey my symptoms, she was unfamiliar with them. Unsure whether it's bone or ligament-related, I hoped she'd offer insight. She suggested I get an x-ray, leaving me frustrated, confused, and feeling helpless. I went to Patient First, where the doctor diagnosed me with a common ganglion cyst, a diagnosis I could have received without an x-ray. Dr. Carofino performed my surgery, and he along with his staff was amazing! In hindsight, I regret not bypassing her office, saving both time and money. It's coincidental that you "don't know" any patients who leave you a bad review like me. You all had to have my name in the system because you took my co-payment, but you don't "remember me".I did my best to explain the issue thoroughly, but she remained fixated on her initial diagnosis. Don't play with me big back. To put the icing on top of the cake, she billed me for fraudulent services: an annual alcohol misuse screening and an "annaual" depression screening. You're a SPINE AND ORTHOPEDIC specialist, not a psychologist or psychiatrist. Nor did I authorize or have knowledge of those screenings. I didn't even receive results for those screenings either. I'm reporting her and her practice to every agency I can. This is in retaliation to my negative reviews towards my negative experience. She's a fraudelent big back individual.
All in that office are very kind. I had injections put in my back today. I don’t have any other problems with them.
