Outstanding customer service, fair pricing and more responsive than any other HVAC company I have ever dealt with! Most of us have experienced A/C problems at some point. It always happens in July, which makes it the busiest time for the HVAC folks, not to mention the heat in the attic that time of year. Tough to get an HVAC tech out the same day you call, in my experience. But every time I have called, Jodi has promised to get someone out that day and the Technicians that have responded have resolved my issues same day, typically at far less expense than I was expecting. My experience with SMI Mechanical was very good and I would recommend them to anyone who needs HVAC service or repair. The office manager, Jody, is very responsive and professional. Mike, the mechanic who installed the condensing unit and cooling coil, was professional and took great care to lay down drop cloths in the house so as not to track dirt into my home. Mike clearly explained the work that he was going to perform and answered every question that I had. I appreciated Jody's honesty and passing on a savings to me that she could have kept for additional profit. In September 2020 my AC was not cooling and SMI diagnosed the system and the cooling coil was leaking....read full review
