I was awarded a 10% discount and removal of $646 in fines that Seegars Fence of Durham had attempted to apply in a Small Claims Court hearing in April 2023. In Court, I demonstrated that Jason Daniels, owner of Seegars Fence in Durham, failed to complete work he was required to do under contract. Documents also demonstrated that Jason Daniels fabricated evidence and made false claims. Based on the volume and gravity of misrepresentations put forth by Daniels, it appears that the deception is deliberate and the way he chooses to do business. I offer this review to provide others with information when considering contracting with this company.

Wonderful! I had a great experience with Dustin and his team. I got a handful of estimates and Seegars was neither the most or least expensive of the quotes, but Dustin was so good at answering my questions and helping me with other possibilities. They were flexible with my schedule and kept me informed of everything with all the rain delays we've had this winter. Hands down, one of the easiest companies I've worked with during my renovation. Well done, Seegars!

Fence was installed a few months ago. Immediately after installation, a piece off the corner of fence 'fell' off into my neighbors yard. They did come to fix that piece. Now, a complete section has come loose from a post. I completed a repair request online, and you would have thought that I was a total idiot for even asking them to come back to my house to repair the issue. I was told that cost would be excessive and that I could just repair it myself with a couple of nails. When I explained that I was unable to complete the work myself I was told I would have to remove my rock border AND they would charge me $350 to come and look at it. I am perfectly willing to pay for the repair but my expectations of the company actually caring about their quality of work have certainly not been met. I have had several neighbors ask who put in my fence. I will definitely be communicating my disappointment to everyone who asks. I basically invested thousands of dollars for a fence that has lasted 7 months.
