Shotokan Karate of Hampton Roads is a traditional karate dojo. Sensei Pohle is a passionate instructor who has many years of experience. Students learn discipline and respect in addition to karate skills. The dojo is a positive place with excellent people. Many families find success at the dojo.

Wonderful place I went just to try it out I go two times a week now I love the schedule six days a week

I was in town for a week and a half. I asked if I could train with this club while I was in town for work and Pohle Sensei welcomed me with open arms. They were very knowledgeable and kind. I look forward to coming back! Osu!

My daughter came across this Dojo while searching for a place to practice karate. She was very interested in traditional Karate. We are very pleased with what she’s been able to accomplish so far. Sensei Pohle is an amazing human being with a big heart and passion for teaching discipline that reflects his many years of experience.Now my husband is practicing Karate too and is loving every minute of it!Totally recommend it.
