My daughter has been there for a little over a year now and she loves it. They treat her fair. I have had no issues with the staff. They are trustworthy and handle our children with respect and care.

My daughter has been attending the Yorktown dojo since September. We moved to the area a couple months prior and my daughter had been doing taekwondo for 18 months prior to moving. I called literally everyone in the area. Spent hours on the phone discussing techniques and I just have to say - WHAT A DIFFERENCE this is. Brian Hobson Karate has been amazing for my daughter’s self esteem and her emotional health has improved so much. I tell everyone considering Karate this is THE ONLY place to consider. The fact she’s learning Japanese terms (not just “front kick/back kick” but true Japanese names for everything she’s learning is just a bonus. 10/10

So, I've taken my son to a couple of martial arts locations in the area, nothing quite like Brian Hobson's Studio. Here's why..Theinstructor's train collectively AND individually with each student so that no one is left behind. It is nothing at alllike going to your local group excercise class The instructor's at BH Karate genuinely care about your success in martial arts and that sets them apart from anywhere else I've been.Since joining BH my son has gained his confidence and good manners. It's so nice to have other men to be a positive influence on my son. That kind of impact would not be possible if they didn't genuinely care. Great guys, great Studio.GREAT...read full review
