If I could rate higher than 5 stars I would. I called Eugene from Rannys Chimeny Sweep, one day before a massive snow and ice storm was coming through. He called me back within 15 minutes and came the very next morning on a day they typically do not work to ensure my needs were met for the safety of my family. He went above and beyond adding insulation that we did not have before to ensure more warmth. The services he provided for my family demonstrated the kind of person he is and the business he runs. Family owned and operated by knowledgeable, friendly and hard working people. Can not recommend them enough.
Called Eugene for a last minute inspection and chimney sweep before the upcoming winter storm. They were extremely accommodating and were able to fit us in before the storm hit. Very pleasant to deal with. Extremely thorough and educational. He pointed out future problem areas that will be addressed going forward. Very reasonably priced considering the short fused request to fit us in. They quickly earned all of our future repeat business for all of our fireplace and chimney needs. Highly recommend!
We had Ranny’s Chimney Sweep out recently, and I couldn’t be happier with the service. Eugene Seay and his sons, Kyle and Ryan, were right on time, very professional, and treated our home with real care. They laid out plenty of drop cloths so no soot ended up in the living room, and they even gave us great tips on how to run the woodstove more efficiently.
What really impressed me is their honesty. Since they only do sweeping — not repairs — there was no pressure to buy something we didn’t need, like a new liner. It felt good to work with people who take pride in doing the job right.
