“Met with the owner, Charles on 2 different projects. One a small repair and the other new roof. Charles is a standup guy, honest and reliable. They, like almost every roofing company in the area, use subcontractors to actually do most of their work and use their own in-house supervision which was not clear upon initial meeting. Price was ok, not the least expansive but because of Charles’ clear knowledge I used them on both jobs. The repair went very smooth and without incident. The reroof went not as good.Issue arose at the start. Poor planning, supervision and follow thru were a nightmare. Good communication prior to start but I think the supervision may need better training and assistance on dealing with customers and their subbed crew. Very little preparation on their part was done prior to starting and subsequently resulted in unnecessary and very avoidable issues such as damaged screens, damage to deck and railing, HVAC units, siding and personal property.Without going into too much detail, it was a mess and a true disaster. They needed to hire a pressure washing company to clean the house and I hope they will never use them again because he insulted our property via a group text message and never bothered to apologize, however once Charles and his wife got personally involved, most things were corrected to our satisfaction. Charles is a man of his word and followed thru to make sure all aspects of my concerns were met and ultimately addressed and corrected.Better supervision and better subcontractor crew would have helped tremendously and likely avoided all issues.“
