I've been seeing Dr. Herod for a number of years (at least 7). This practice is TOP NOTCH - always on time, very patient, they explain what happening during the procedure (two crowns, refilled old cavities, Invisalign braces, and routine cleanings). They are very professional and I would recommend this practice to everyone.

They are so kind and personable here, each person working there makes sure to take the time to explain things in detail. They aren’t just trying to have you come in and out, instead you can tell they go above and beyond to really figure things out. They are a dentistry that cares about the person which is hard to find at dentists nowadays. I used to have the worst dental anxiety and had trouble finding a good holistically leaning dentist here in Richmond. This all changed with Dr. Herod and this office, I know when I go there i’m going to be told the truth and my teeth will be taken care of properly.... read full review
We recently switched to Dr. Herod, because we wanted to find a more holistic dentist for our two toddlers. We took them for their first appointment and had such a wonderful experience. Dr. Herod and his hygienist were so friendly and took time to educate us about how to best support our kids' oral health. They made our kids feel comfortable and didn't pressure them into doing anything they didn't want to do. They let them pick out toys from the treasure box at the end of the visit and sent them with goody bags of a new toothbrush, nontoxic toothpaste, and floss.
