I don't have the words to write how great Amanda has been in my recovery. Partial knee replacements, torn hamstring and now lumbar problems. Amanda listens and understands my active lifestyle, following up with me as I wait for various tests and doctor appointments. Dry needling straightened my hamstring coupled with simple exercises, stretching, and massage worked a miracle. I look forward to PT. She is like a personal trainer just for my leg. Now that my lumbar issues are identified, I have confidence that Amanda can design a plan for me that will get my back in the best shape possible. I finally feel like I have an fierce ally in my recovery.

Aug 2020

I had a rotator cuff repaired in February. I had the surgery in Hampton, Va and live in the Richmond VA area. I started PT in Hampton while staying at my daughter's house in the area. When I was able to do more for myself, I went back home and continued my PT at Pivot in Mechanicsville. I mostly saw Matthew and he had me way ahead of schedule - sticking strictly to my doctor's schedule. The whole mask/covid thing started half way through my PT. I was still able to work on my shoulder and they were very careful, skipping tables and a good disinfecting after each client. I highly recommend Pivot in Mechanicsville. In fact, I am having a knee replacement in a week and just made an appointment for next week for my post surgery eval.

I have been to all other PT places in Mechanicsville and find this one the best. Matt listens, is hands on and the dry needle therapy has been great. It is typical to have open bed area in PT offices but the private rooms for private needs are a plus and other PT facilities do not have. I find the reception great and ease for parking making apts and changing them a breeze.
