“This morning at MAH, I was tearing up over the thought of losing access to this amazing hospital if and when we move. In 2006, we moved to McLean for the school district. In 2024, we are dragging our feet to move out of McLean because we love this hospital so much. It has been the rock for our 12 pets we have had over the last 18 years. Many of the staff have worked here for decades and they are literally family not just a business. They speak with one voice and act with one heart with the best interests of the pets and their human parents in mind. When in need, they have a vast network of specialized vets which they can tap into with ease in the most timely manner. The fabric of people there, their strong bond, is what makes it possible to enable consistently high quality of dedicated care. They have been with us through the most challenging of times, and every time, we are grateful we have been able to have our pets in the care of the best of the best. Yes, they may be pricey, but we have to understand the amount of training, the amount of education, the amount of experience day in and day out that goes behind the outstanding care they provide. To all MAH staff, past and current, we cannot thank you too much for being our primary go to clinic. You are the gem in McLean and in this industry which is rapidly consolidating into the hands of few major players but we hope you can stay independent for decades to come. Kudos to you all. Yuri K“

“My dog needed all of her vaccines updated and her annual check up, so I found this place online. We walked in on a Friday during lunch hour and were the only customers- we were in and out in 20 minutes. The assistants were very quick to check me in and recommended the perfect package for us to get all our vaccines. I was most impressed by the pricing- I have always had to pay twice as much as I did at PetWellClinic for the routine vaccines. The vet also took extra care with my dog who usually cries when getting these shots, and she did not let out one whimper. We will definitely be back!“

“My 12 and 1/2 year old German Shepherd was having issues with arthritis in her hind legs. Following an exam of the entire dog and discussion with me, Hunter Mill’s doctor gave my shepherd an injection of Librela that seems to have given my dog new life and energy. Her arthritis issues are greatly reduced. We highly recommend this veterinary clinic and Librela. My 12 1/2 year old dog can now play and enjoy life better than last week prior to the injection. I’m told that the positive effects should last for about 30 days. We will be back next month for another injection.“
