We love Tom. The best.Tom was great selling our townhouse near GMU. We had intended to fix up before selling but realized we'd then be stuck in it for another year. We decided to sell as is, and knock down the price to account for the needed repairs.We had gotten "strung along" by another "HGTV" influencer type realtor who after several exchanges told us to price it for $100K than other similar homes. less because of needed repairs. They had given glossy expensive hardbound portfolios: one for each of us. Very impressive; very "expensive"! Our friends recommended Tom and we could not be happier. He took time to get to know us and to truly understand what we were interested in, and eventually helped us narrow down the search. From the very start we noticed that Tom's knowledge of NOVA neighborhoods and McLean is outstanding. In many cases he even knew decision-relevant information about specific houses; e.g., something that was not mentioned in the listing or was not obvious from just looking. This was so helpful! Beyond his extensive experience, Tom has a good energy. He is passionate about helping clients finding their new home and goes above and beyond to make sure they make a choice they will not regret. We appreciated hearing his honest opinion backed by market data and experience. What's more, no matter how busy he was, he always found time to respond. Throughout the whole time of the search, our communication was very smooth, clear, and efficient. Perhaps even more importantly, he demonstrated a strong work ethic and integrity, which inevitably resulted in an excellent outcome. Tom Reilly greatly exceeded our expectations as a realtor! As first time home buyers, we were a bit overwhelmed with the entire process. Tom took time to guide us through each stage, and provided continual updates on each aspect of the closing process. He truly advocates for his clients best interests, and takes extra time to ensure every request is upheld to the highest standard.
