As a queer person, I have always felt safe and accepted there. Danny works very hard to make sure the shop is a comfortable environment. Faka is the artist I normally see, his American Traditional work is simply beautiful. Every day I look at this amazing tattoo that was inspired by a friend and artist. I met Carlos and his family in an alley in Baltimore MD. That might seem strange, but a lot of lifetime friendships were created in this very alley. In an even stranger situation, I later learned his sweet wife Adele, shares my special birthday and a love of fish. Through COVID, music, and good friends, the “Fishes” were created out of love, and they now stay on my body forever. In a fast world full of anxiety and always being in a hurry to get things done, communication can fall apart. Once we were in person the energy was alarming between us, almost overwhelming. I was not sure we would create such a beautiful and meaningful piece. He took my scattered mind and made it art for me to love and cherish forever.“

“I went to TK for my first tattoo and could not have asked for a better experience. He was patient and communicative through our booking and design process. He explained everything that he was doing and clearly prioritized my comfort and safety. We ended up breaking my appointment into two sessions because he noticed my skin was really sensitive and wanted to give me some time to heal before finishing the piece so that it would turn out perfect. We even FaceTimed before the next appointment to make sure I was healed enough to continue it (I wasn’t, so we pushed it back). Before my second appointment, there were some storm/weather alerts, and he messaged me beforehand to make sure I was still comfortable driving in. TK truly loves his job and cares about his clients’ happiness - he’s not just there to make a quick buck. I get tons of compliments on my tattoo and have recommended him to everyone who comments on it!“
