“My dog just completed training with Andrew Horan at Citizen K-9 and returned a well behaved pup. Macie is an Eng. Bulldog and is very stubborn. She more or less did as she pleased when she wanted. She had us trained. We camp almost every weekend and she goes with us on all our trips. It had been a nightmare, she would pull on the leash when walking her and grab the leash out of our hands, jump up on people and their dogs, and rush out of the door of the RV with little recall. We were unable to relax and enjoy our time with her outside of the RV. Mr. Horan said he would make it his mission to teach Macie to become a better behaved dog. He did an excellent job. She returned to us a better behaved dog while still being her loving self. We are enjoying her much more at home and while camping. I highly recommend Citizen K-9 for training.“

“From the moment you walk in the door to going back to the patient rooms you and your pets are treated with kindness, respect, compassion, and love. The people who work at Sully take the time to facilitate positive interactions with your pets especially and make your visit comfortable, happy, relaxed, and quick. I used to live in Centreville and I've taken my family pets there and now our two dogs. We've seen multiple vets and interacted with a lot of the vet techs and the experience is always positive. They follow-up visits with genuine and sincere phone calls and texts checking in on your pets. They spend time making our nervous dog feel comfortable which is huge in making the experience less taxing for him and instead fun. They take time to socialize with our puppy. They answer ALL of our questions no matter how big or small, and trust me I often have a lot as a very mindful pet owner. They are responsive to emails and listen to your concerns. We drive an hour to get to Sully and so that should also show how much we appreciate them and what they do. Truly grateful for Sully and their staff.“

“I am so thankful to have found ABWC and Dr. Pike specifically. My senior dog had significant, negative behavior changes a few months into bringing a new puppy into the home. These behavioral changes were compounded by issues caused by a mystery injury years earlier that never fully healed. We had tried several regular veterinarians for both the behavioral issues and the injury, but nobody was able to provide any real relief.

Dr. Pike was extremely warm, thorough, and nonjudgmental. We implemented the environmental changes Dr. Pike recommended and tried the medications suggested. Within only a few weeks, I felt like I got my old dog back. The negative behaviors disappeared, and my dog no longer seemed constantly distressed. His unresolved injury has also improved dramatically.

Although ABWC is pricey, for me, it's money well spent. I only wish I had called them sooner.“
