We think highly of Blue Mountain Animal Clinic. Worth the time and inconvenience to drive for great veterinary care that listens, doesn't try to sell you on every service and test. Genuinely cares for your pet wellbeing and keeping them healthy. No guilt trips here, just honest advice amd counsel. It doesn't hurt that services are half the price of our former suburban Vet, who was always selling the next service. The babies don't stress about visits here too, which says a lot. Generally easy to get an appointment or prescription as needed, and convenient reminder cards when shots or checkups are due. What's not to love!
I have gone to Blue Mountain Animal Clinic for close friends twice. Both times I was responsible for animals who needed extreme care that required sensitive providers. The first was a dear family cat that was old (14 years old) and was extremely ill and needed to be humanely put down. The team allowed us to go back to a private room to say our goodbyes, explained the process thoroughly, and allowed us to exit out the back for added privacy. The compassion showed and allowing us to take our time to say our goodbyes and grieve was extremely valuable and impactful to the family. The second, was a dear friend's pet dog who was very ill.
