After calling far and wide to find someone to work on a buzzing in my Mule Resonator guitar and hearing either "sorry, no" or "in a couple months" I found Justin Cason right here in Nelson County at Blue Star Music. He looked at it right away, solved the buzzing, and was even able to install a requested Billet T-bridge and cut a new saddle. All fixed up!
I've used Jim as a buyer on 5 properties now, and he is the most thorough and methodical person you can hire. I hope he doesn't retire cause I wouldn't want to use anyone else! When I went to sell my first home after putting tons of work into it, I found his report in a file and in hindsight he had pointed out virtually everything that needed addressing. Plan for a whole day though, he will take his time. I've had a horrible experience with another home inspector who only took about an hour and half and delivered a real fancy binder but missed a bunch of things. I can understand why a seller might not like him because he will point out everything he sees - and he doesn't claim to be an expert on these things; the way home inspections work is that it's up to the buyer and/or seller to bring in an expert when needed.
