“We have been taking our dog to VIP for ~8 years and we wouldn’t trust her care to anyone else. We were initially referred to VIP by our dog’s veterinary behavioralist after trying multiple Arlington based dog daycare and boarding facilities didn’t work out. Those facilities didn’t have the space or the ability to specialize in our dog’s care. VIP, on the other hand, has taken flawless care of her, her many medications and peculiarities, and they constantly show us how much they love her and understand her behaviors and preferences. What really stands apart is their duty of care. During a recent stay, our dog needed an emergency vet visit and they managed it all. They contacted all of our emergency contacts when they couldn’t reach us, took her to a vet the owner takes her own pets to, and let us speak directly with the vet to understand what was going on. That’s stellar care. Our dog is fine, healthy, and happy but if we couldn’t be with her ourselves in a moment like that where her health was in question, I’m so glad she was with them. We have and would gladly refer friends and family to them. VIP and especially Shay and Suzanne are THE BEST. When we drop our dog off with them we know she is happy and safe.“

Pawsome Pups Dog Training Pet Boarding Training

“We highly recommend Pawsome Pups for your furbabies. Getting help from a professional is not cheap, but we needed help, because we were faced with the decision of rehoming one of our dogs due to behavior. We scoured the internet for trainers, comparing prices, reviews, certifications, and methods. Our dog is reactive, fearful, and anxious. We were worried about sending her somewhere where they use shock collars and keep her for 4-6 weeks. We picked Bridget initially for her use of positive reinforcement, but the deal was sealed when we talked to her. She explained what the certifications are and which ones you want to look for. She also explained the difference between training methods, and we loved her no-nonsense (and often blunt) personality. We needed that because we didn’t realize how much we had spoiled our girl and had no idea what we were doing. She taught us how to communicate with our dog and how positive reinforcement doesn’t mean all sunshine and rainbows. We were able to take the tools Bridget gave us to use on our 17 month old looney toon as well. We can’t say thank you enough, Bridget!“

“I can't believe I'm seeing so many negative reviews! I've been bringing my dogs here for years and have had nothing but great experiences. One of my dogs was attacked by 2 bigger dogs and they saved her life! They called me and updated me and were amazing. Years later when we had to put that same dog down due to cancer, they were so awesome about everything. They let me hold her while they gave her the injections and allowed us to stay with her as long as we wanted. They've been great with my other dog as well. We just got a new puppy and took her for her first time. The dr we saw that time was a little "different" telling us dog foods cause cancer and telling us not to use flea and tick treatments. Just a little odd... but I think it's good to have a variety of drs and they do! My only real complaint is that they are EXPENSIVE! I wish they'd lower their prices a bit. Also- help front desk know for sure what people are there for. After I walked out of the room from having my dog put down, the girl at the desk was ready to take my money and cheerfully asked how I was. When I told her not good bc we put our dog down, she felt bad. They just need to be better informed. But overall we love it there!“
