Had new AC and Gas furnace installed. Sales staff was good, service team showed up on time and removed old unit and installed new. Unfortunately when they installed the new thermostat the whole behind the old was larger than they are use to seeing. I assumed they would put a plate over the hole and attach the new thermostat to plate. I found a plate at Walmart for 10 bucks so worse comes to worse I would go get this and cover the hole . No go they installed it over have the hole then removed it and installed it right below the hole leaving a big hole then informed me that its my problem. Called the sales guy to take care of this and he said they would. Nope...never herd... read full review

The McCarthy tech. came out to service my unit. He was very professional and seemed knowledgeable. The diagnosis he gave was my unit needed a "flame sensor". He did not have one in stock and said he'd have to order one which may take a few days to come in and then he'd be back. Then he gave the suggestion that I could order the part on Amazon and replace it myself. He showed me how easy it was and the "one screw" that held it in place. I got the part from Amazon and that wasn't the problem. I need him to come back and diagnose it again. McCarty called to follow up on the service. I told them I was still having problems. They bought our HVAC company DM Select. Raised the price of the yearly maintenance which was a joke even with DM Select. They will not stop calling me. Asked 3 times to stop calling! Just another big slimy HVAC company. Switching to local small company.
